@johnnyconservative There are a lot of good discs but Discraft and Innova are the 2 largest golf disc manufacturers and so by him being honest, you know that he thinks the Nuke is the best Discraft disc. Everyone has a preference. I prefer Innova discs and right now I use the Pro Katana but will be switching to the Pro Destroyer soon.
@rjmcleod04 All I am saying is that I would think that the powers that be at Discraft would rather him say that he liked the nuke without saying that Discraft sponsors him.
@johnnyconservative I get what you're saying...but they're open about that kind of stuff...when you talk to them, part of their role as a sponsored player is to try and get more people throwing Discraft discs
@rjmcleod04 I understand that. But when he was asked what disc he prefers, he said something along the lines of "discraft sponsors me, so I like the Nuke best". It seems like he is being dishonest or something. BTW I am a discraft guy myself.
Actually, he says that he is a bit biased because he is supported by Discraft. Which tells me that if he was not supported by Discraft, he may throw a Vulcan instead....lol.
@johnnyconservative I bought a Vulcan last week and threw it for the first time today...probably around 475 feet...not sure but it felt good. I'm looking forward to throwing it more :)
@Neo654x You don't need to do the spin approach when pulling in ultimate. Check out my videos on pulling - that's the technique I would recommend. However, what he said about how when you throw, you want your body to move with the hips first then your core and your arm last - that's super valuable and applies to pulling :)
@Neo654x im a disc golfer and i tried to play ultimate and i would turn the frisbee over with just a little tiny snap. so no u dont need this for ultimate. a disc golfer can only throw a frisbee maybe 25% of their throwing power. they just arnt built for big distance.
At 2:18 the guy in the background did a sweet move!

Yeah I have a few Vulcans and like them pretty well, they become more understable very easily though.

He was throwing a overhand wrist flip. It's a freestyle throw used to put Counter Spin on the disc (when thrown Right handed).
