Hello i am using a waste spark on my MS1 3.57. There is only one wire out from the MS to the coil. And my coil have 3 plots on it. I know from sketches that the middle one (orange) is the 12V but cant figure out what are the other two. Any idea? The coil is a FEBI BILSTEIN (FIAT : 4647 2440 - 4648 0361 - 4644 6039)
you can run spark on 2.2 or 3.0 just fine, I am triggering stock coils (in the video) which have builtin igniters, so it takes a +5v pulse to charge and fires on falling edge of the +5 signal. this can be done via two small 2n3906 transistors that are connected to the 1st and 3rd led.
ms1extra and ms2extra both use these leds for ignition triggers.
Can you tell me please, how are you running spark on V2.2? Did you do any modes to the board? I did some and right now when i am connecting wires to the coil, my engine is making pinking noises ( like a detonation)
