Beautiful, you certainly got close, we were on a puffin cruise boat on The Moray Firth last summer a whole pod followed us for over an hour, best experience of my life.

I lived in Aberporth (which is about 10-15 minutes from Llangrannog) between the ages of 13 and 16, and we did this almost every weekend on my stepdad's boat. Best time was when a small pod came round the boat with their youngsters, it was magical! It is sooo much better when they are wild, because they havent been trained to come that close, its their choice to! Great Video guys!

Very lucky to get so close,I go out there in a kayak,never been THAT close,but nearly.Seems to be certain times of year they will come so close,other times seem a bit shy.This is the best spot just off Ynys Lochtyn and Newquay head,almost guaranteed a sighting.

I have swum with them a few times up near the St tudwals. They can be boisterous, i've come out with bruises but THEY'VE ALWAYS COME TO ME... i never harass nor chase them. Gotta be sooo careful... And by the way the "show" they were putting on for you was them feeding :)

What kind of boat is it?? what size? i am going to cardigan bay in a few weeks with a 4 meter inflatable boat, hope to take the kids out to see these dolphins.....

It was about the same size, I'll ask my Dad, but 5 meters or so, with a small outboard motor.
