I understand what your saying man but I took a whole year of lessons in sword play and I am still only an amauter, I spent a day with a gun in a range and I could load it, disasemble reassemble and shoot it. A sword takes loads of skill to use, swing it wildly chances are you'll end up hitting a friend or even yourself. Swords are far more difficult to use You would be amazed how hard it is to hit even a reasonably sized target without practise.
