Im Australian & my son had to be born by emergency c-section to save his life but i had wanted a natural birth & while i personally would prefer to have a hospital birth, i dont believe that the right to a homebirth should be decided by the government. I believe that homebirths are absolutely beautiful & completely the choice of the mother and father- not some stranger.
I hope this wonderful experience is not taken away from women who have the right to choose how their own children are born.
Tears flowing. After a traumatic hospital birth 3 1/2 years ago we are trying to conceive our 2nd baby who will be born at home.
