Of course it is no relation whatsoever with the famous historic DS Citroen, the most beautiful design of all time. It is a pity they also call the Citroen Mini the DS. However the new Citroen DS does look a fantastic car. I like the new Citroens. I think the new C5 saloon is absolutely beautiful.

This car looks great, depending on its price i may part ex my 2008 C2 VTS HDi in for one of these when they are released..I want a sporty car aswell as some luxury so i may get one of these instead of an Audi A3 S line..

For those which are slating its looks, it looks nothing like the old DS's because they are seriously ugly..In their day they were great but come on..Im sure Citroen know what they are doing..

What do you been by old one?... double chevron has always been their logo where now Citroen has very smartly integrated it more on their cars. Love that Citroen has got their mojo back in designing really cool looking cars.

Really nice looking car - Keeping it separate to the C3 which will be out end of year is a good idea - I expect the C3 will major on practicality and Citroens core values of refinement and comfort. So the DS3 can be sportier.

One things for sure it is far more modern and exciting than the ubiquitous and retro Mini

Becuase citroen DS in the 50-60-70's was a car. Nowadays it will be a brand of Citroen for higher class models. It's a bit like Lexus for Toyota, Acura for Honda, or Infiniti for Nissan.
