This is the thing I like about Hellsing. So many animes have demon heroes. Some have vampire heroes. there are all these shows where the monsters are the good guys.

With Hellsing, there is no question; Alucard is NOT a good guy. He is bound to someone who uses him for good, but HE is not good. He is a vicious, bloodthirsty, sadistic monster. I don't even really like Hellsing, but I keep watching it because when I first saw the show, I was like "THAT is exactly how Dracula should be depicted."
