First time I watched season 5 (back in 2005 when it came out on tv) I really didn't like it. I thought too much had changed from the first 4 seasons, especially the fact that they lost the mockumentary format. Watching it again though, it really isn't that bad at all. I didn't laugh as much as I did with the earlier seasons, but instead of taking that as a bad thing, I now appreciate the darker, drama like qualities of this season.
