Turbo'ing as you leave the loop gives you enough height for a barrel roll as you turn to the left (the first turn of the series of "tricky turns"). It's probably faster.

I haven't played Fury online yet, but on the original WipeOut HD I always liked using slower ships to beat leagues of Icarus players. Goteki45 is the easiest one to use, and doesn't take too long to use effectively. Just get used to hitting nearly every speed pad, and it's a great ship.

Cool, thanks for the advice! After loads of testing and testing, I've finally put my lot in with Auricom. I guess only time will tell if that was a wise choice or not but it seems to work good for my driving style.

always go through speed lap with your each car to find which one suits you best. after that, try it in a single race under novice with weapons on to see if you last the race.

Your tutorials are great! Very easy to understand and feel very professional. With a little practice maybe one day I can race like that! My biggest problem I think is not sticking to any one ship. I'm still working on getting all the skins for all the ships. So I haven't found my ideal ship yet but after seeing this the Goteki seems awesome. Though it's one of the ships that I have zero skins for, except for the ones won in HD and Fury campaigns.
