Did you see the same fight I saw? Rogers couldn't do anything to Fedor except that jab in the beginning of the fight to get cut. Then those flurry of punches from the top only to get locked nearly in an armbar. Rogers couldn't land any power punches cause he's just too slow. Rogers again brute strength. Clayton I agree that rogers is a great fighter, I think it's bs that people are calling him a nobody. It would be interesting to see them fight again. If so, Rogers needs to eat and sleep fedor, plain and simple. If he did get better cardio, improved his stand up and wrestling, he would stand a chance. I am going to make an unpopular prediction. Fedor nut huggers proceed the the haterade!
After Fedor wins the title he will hold it for about a year until Rogers becomes the number one contender and unfortunately Fedor loses the rematch. Rogers will be a much better figher and will dominate Fedor in the stand up and on the ground. That is only assuming that Rogers isn't recruited into the UFC. I think he will follow the chedder and go to UFC unless strike force can lock him in for a long deal.

Did you see the same fight I saw? Rogers couldn't do anything to Fedor except that jab in the beginning of the fight to get cut. Then those flurry of punches from the top only to get locked nearly in an armbar. Rogers couldn't land any power punches cause he's just too slow. Rogers again brute strength. Very strong indeed but Fedor still controlled him on the ground.
I don't think Fedor cares for UFC. Not that UFC has better fighters. UFC had crappy HW's and always has been.

I agree that is a very likely scenario of how the find will end with lesner. I just didnt want to look past lesner as a chump even though alot of people say he is. I am pretty sure most people will agree that mir is better on the ground and in the stand up but just look what happened. But I don't think that kind of thing would happen to fedor but it is possible. It's to protect the fighters from the sort of brain damage that can be sustained by boxers due to the eight count. Currently the hw's in the ufc suck! Lesnar is the ONLY challenge, if fedor beat him he'd be left with nobody else to fight. In strikeforce he has better competition at hw.
Nog is the only proven UFC hw, and fedor's already fought him three times.

Granted there is a new generation of up and coming fighters like Cain, Carwin, Lesnar, and Dos Santos that seem to be the future of the HW division. Before everyone starts getting overly concerned about a Lesnar/Fedor fight Lesnar should plow through them first. He's yet to fight someone his own size like a Rogers as Fedor has numerous times.
