the 300m was motortrend car of the year for 99, so its no p.o.s.

but i will admit with proper tuning and parts this car be taken to a whole nother level like any other automobile...this is a new age where in...its no longer about mustangs,camaros, supras,skylines,m3, its about who wants to fix what....

theyve got so many sleeper ,unsuspecting fast cars out there its crazy...

if youve got the time and money you can make any automobile fast and good.

a 300m while it comes from the factory in decent shape.

its an all aluminum 3.5l putting out 250 hp and t.q that engine can be tuned like any other to put out over 300 hp with better internals. i.e forged pistons rod, lifters valves ,retainers, port n polish,etc.

the weak point was the 42le/a606 tranny.but like all trannys something can be done..racing torque converter, l.s.d, full m.s.v.b, better clutch packs,suddenly that tranny is no longer a piece of shit, and can now support the power.

The engine and transmission is from a 3.5 liter Intrepid ES. Doing that with the way the drivetrain is arranged (Think Audi and Porsche, they were inspiration), it seems most practical for this kind of kit car (it is NOT an IndyCar. Watch ESPN in April)
