  • i was reading somewhere where eating meat is not that bad and that the body needs the B-complex which can only be had from meat. They say that animal fat is important to the body as well and that our bodies are actually dietary hybrids that are well suited to a meat and vegetable diet.

  • @gamergirl2880 bean and cheese burritos lol

  • You will die without proper iron and protein. 1.Skin becomes grey pasty looking color.

  • @avnish0000 HAHA go eat yourself

  • Become a vegetarian for the right reasons. If you are looking for a way to lose weight and wanna use vegetarianism as a diet, it's wrong. You will be amazingly surprised on how much fat and carbs there are in vegetarian food. Stand your grounds and keep focused on the real reasons such as no cholesterol intake or other animal toxins, animal rights or environmental reasons. Most importantly, GO TO THE DOCTOR. It's imperative you do so that you don't get sick for not eating certain vitamins.

  • learn how to eat meat hitler was a vegetarian

  • How to become a vegetarian in one easy step.

    Dont eat meat.

    kthxbai.

  • I want to be vegetarian and am more than half way there i never eat sea food or cow meat but its really hard for me to give up bacon ham and chicken. For i love these meats can any of you give me substitutions for these meats? It would be greatly appreciated.

  • From a cruelty point of view give up the small animals first including all seafood..because these animals endure the most abuse...I been a vegan Straight Edge for almost 15 yrs..educate yourself and take small steps in your life to fight all animal abuse.

  • @Trace7173 crusader hey

  • I want to become a vegetarian, but is it okay to eat fish? Or is fish just as crucial?

  • @wm0516 I believe eating fish is just as cruel but if your going to give up eating fish its important to substitute the vitamins with other foods

  • @wm0516 it depends on how you feel about it.. if you feel bad and sorry for the fish, don't eat it, if you don't then go ahead.

  • @wm0516 you should watch Earthlings (if u haven't yet)

It's a documentary about how human beings abuse from their power to exploit animals. It's not just blood here and blood there, it really has an important message that will make you think about vegetarianism and veganism and maybe help you answer some questions

    Hope you like it! :)

  • @wm0516 Becoming a vegetarian means cutting out all meat from your diet, so that includes fish.

  • @wm0516 no. we vegetarians do not eat fish.that would be another diet your thinking about....

  • Nice helpful video :)

  • @houstonhelpanimals thanks!!

  • @princessat1 I suggest start by cutting back on animal products and ease into it so it sticks for life. Less and less meat over a few months will make it easier, meanwhile try the veg meats if you are addicted and other new foods. Most favs can easily be made vegan: stir fry, pizza, pasta. For health you will benefit so no concerns, but everyone regardless if veg or not should take a vitamin and omega-3 flaxseed oil pill is really good too. veg starter kit Vegan Outreach and ChooseVeg (dot)com

  • You are a wonderful human being, thank you!

  • @ballerine11 thank you so much <3

  • can you tell me whats the difference between vegetarian and vegan please?

    Nice video :)

  • Kelly Clarkson is a vegiterian?! Screw Abe Lincon, Gandhi, and Albert Einstien! Its KELLY CLARKSON!!!! :P

  • @princessat1 why the excuse? people who want to diet say but i LOVE sweets and you think, what?

  • I'm getting older and a doctor has convinced me to try being a vegetarian.

So far so good, I feel much better now. I didnt' know becoming a vegetarian was actually healthier.

I was always under the impression I couldn't get stronger without eating meat. Actually I recover to 100% now. I used to go to the gym and work out really hard and be sore for days .. 3/4 days sometimes. Now I lift and I feel awesome the next day.

I like this so far and I wish I didnt' live past 30 to try this lifestyle

  • hi thank you for the info I just started the vegetarian thing and im excited about it do you know of anymore sites i can get on for information id appreciate it so much email me if you have time at onenamillion7@yahoo.com thank you so much

  • I think becoming vegetarian is a good thing.

But whenever I try, I fail after a few days.

Don't you have tips to keep doing this?

Because I give up to quick. Maybe you can help?

  • Morrissey, Thom York, Damon Albarn, Johnny Marr, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and MANY others are Vegetarians or Vegans.

  • You left Adolf Hitler off of your list of famous vegetarians.

  • @MunchyMcNipples HAHAHA who would ever want to credit him for anything

  • I ate a whole bunch of chicken a few hours ago. I hope that is my last. Only problem is the meatless patties can get expensive.

  • Can you please help me? I lost weight and I want to gain it back and be healthy. I haven't eaten meet in 3 years and I know that I'm not doing the vegetarian diet correctly because of my weight loss. How do I plan my meals? What foods?

  • @DirectlyHerewhat are you vegetarian or vegan? it sounds like your lacking foods with fat such as peanuts, avocado, peanut butter, these are things that are important in your diet.

  • @MalloryJackson whats the difference between vegetarian and vegan?

  • @whaleous06 vegetarians consume dairy vegans don't

  • @DirectlyHere I would say eat more carbs, but sometimes its genetics to be naturally thinner as well. Many body builders and athletes are veg too. VeganHealth (dot) org is from a dietician.

  • @DirectlyHere check out the thoussssaands of RAW FOOD videos and recipes on youtube ! right here on youtube ! , theres pages u can join on facebook , Links will be in the description boxes . RAW FOOD is the way forward !

  • Thanks

  • vegetarianism is not healthy idiots ^^

  • @LADYLIIIIIIKE educate yourself before you judge

  • @LADYLIIIIIIKE correction: not healthy for most people*. it works better for women, because they're naturally thinner, etc. but yeah, the whole 'it's healthier, lower your vulnerability to cancer and disease' is TOTAL bullshit. soy isn't even good for you unless it's fermented; much of the vegetarian/vegan diet relies on soy as a major source of protein, and /that isn't healthy for anybody/. meat just needs to be taken better care of before it enters the human body. nuff said.

  • @LADYLIIIIIIKE dude vegetarian is a VERY healthy diet.

  • @gotthkid2 tbh, meat vs vegetarian health debate is kind of pointless in my opinion.

Meat eater can base their diet on lean meat and broccoli, while vegetarian can base their diet on coke, cupcakes and donuts.

Here, coke, cupcakes and donuts are obviously the problem...

  • @LADYLIIIIIIKE umm...idiot,meat causes high blood preasure,MAJOR weigh gain, heart diseases, and the one of the leading causese of diabetes....are any of those things healthy?nope.

  • i stopped eating pork, lamb n beef a year ago so i'm going all the way now!! Thanks Gorgeous!!

  • no michael jackson was not a vegetarian. His favorite food was fried chicken.

But thank you for the tips :)

  • Thank you thank you thank you.!

This is really gonna help me.

I just saw this video on here called "Meet your meat" I cried SO HARD. And, I've decided to become a vegetarian. I just hated the cries those poor animals made whenever they were beaten to dead or thrown on concrete floors to death. Just. So. Sad. :( (And, this video had inspired me)

  • God put animal's on this earth for a reason. For us to eat.

  • I would go vegetarian for you :p!!

  • use a hot ass bitch for your slogan

  • meat is murder!

  • Thanks!

I've been taking baby steps and it's not easy at all.

I've brought books on becoming vegetarian to help me on this journey.

I do like some of the morning star products.

However, I'm finding that I'm still getting sick and my family thinks from the lack of protein?

  • okay side note: She's hot

  • Being a vege aint going to change the way how animals are killed. However i respect ur ways to become.

  • hi my name is daisy and ive been trying to become vegetarian for a while now and i have failed alot of times...but da main reason was not knowing how to actually start...so id u can please contact me and give me some starter tips..thank you

  • hi im 10 years old could u send me more i wont to know how it feels to stop eating meat and become a vegetarian

  • thnk you!!

  • I didn't go through the vegetarian part... o.e I just went straight to vegan. .-.

  • i live in the south where everywhere theres meet

its soo hard to be a vegetarian here but i stay strong and stick to the veggies(:

  • i hunt deer, so i eat that, along with chicken, beef, ecc. a lot of people think its "evil" that i hunt, but, its a lot more humane! its instant death, no tourture, and better for you! i think if i buy organic, then it will help with the cruelty, because i do not want to have the guilt on my consciene that im paying those bullshit companies to keep hurting innocent animals....

  • @JessicaFisher80 I completely agree with you. It's more natural to go out and hunt the animal even with a machine gun rathher than putting it through a whole life of hell in a slaughter house. Least it had a chance to live(:

  • i want to become vegetarian cause i love animals and there's a lot of problems with meat now, but my parents wouldn't like me to become one.

  • Do you consider fish as meat?

  • @Aussiegirl265 Yes I dont eat chicken, fish or eggs

  • wow your beautiful!!!

  • I like your video, but I guess u forget something really important... Animal suffering? Why dont u mention that?

  • @beringela14 Cause I don't want people to feel forced into becoming a vegetarian cause they feel guilty I want them to turn vegetarian for there own well being.

  • Hardest part of becoming a vegetarian at that age: Strict Parents. I'm actually having that issue atm. XP

  • i would like to be a vegetarian but my parents would never take me seriously.

  • I started being a Vegetarian on 7.20.10 and havent ate mea since. It's easy to handle and its not hard at all for me :)

  • @BriannaVANIITY BACON BACON BACON BACON BACON.

  • @malcolmcox mmm morning star bacon strips 100% meatless ;)

  • ima start and try my best =]

is there anyway we can talk like on msn or something so i can ask you for tips =]

  • i'm sure that lowering your intake of meat will lower the risks of heart disease and some cancers etc, but witholding form meat eating altogether is not only dangerous, but can increase the risk of many cancers as well as problems related to iron and protein deficiencies. if you want to be a vegetarian, you should be, but make sure you're taking supplements which contain the vitamins and minerals that your body is missing out on.

  • Global warming. Overexploited natural resources. Deforestation. Wasted land. Water and air pollution. The most serious environmental problems of our time are all directly linked to eating meat.

  • Hay :]

    I Was Just Wondering If You Could Also Use Tofu As Meat? :}

  • @EricaEatsCupcakesx3 Yes u can! You can cook it just like u used to cook meat :)

  • i have been a vegetarian since 2 days ago. And this video got me alot of help.

  • im trying to be a vegetarian its been 4 days so far without meat but its hard cause my mom doesnt want me to do it so i've been taking meat to my room and throwing it away with out her knowing. im 17 btw. and i keep getting light headed everytime i stand up..

  • @blessthejoannie Thats not good you really need to be eating properly & get the right nutrition I know you can live off eat chips all day but you really need to eat more vegetables or buy protein suppliments. I have low blood pressure & I used to get light headed when I would stand up try eating fruit, exercising, & drinking lots of water also I need sugar to keep my blood levels regulated to buy some sweet things :)

  • @MalloryJackson Hey Mallory Im Gene 21yrs old from Jersey nd I think ur hot are yu single?

  • @blessthejoannie im trying to become a vegetarian too, and i have the same problem, my mom doesnt want me to so i havent been eating alot b/c my mom cooks meat for dinner almost everynight, its been about 3 days and im hungry but my mom will relize that i need to do what is right for me and hopefully she will get me some morning star! :) i hope you stick to ur vegtarianism dude and dont let anyone tell u what u should do

  • where do u get the info that not eating meat is not good for u we heaved evolved to eat meat and vegetables

  • @armymedic999 we may have evolved but it is not a necessity anymore also if you want to go on to the topic that were meant to eat meat thats not true cause we have to cook meat in order to eat it so that doesnt make us naturally suitable to eat raw flesh, humans cant just take a bite out of a cow & be ok maybe a lion could because its stomach is mean for digesting hair, flesh, & blood ours isn't.

Also carnivores have long pointed teeth examples, lion, aligators, ect. humans dont.

  • @MalloryJackson humans still eat raw meat and we can because we have teeth to do so incisors, canines, and molars all meant to rip and taer and chew meat and other our bodies can digest it only people cook it because its taste better and kills bacteria ,,,,and taking vitamin pills isn:t natural u just take it to replace what u arnt getting from eating meat

  • @MalloryJackson Actually...we can drink blood and eat raw meat...we however MIGHT GET a parasite. If it weren't for our vets most of our dogs and cats would have parasites (and they still do). Humans however found that hey if we cook that shit we don't get sick as often, live longer...and omg it taste great! But on a real note I'm not in support of torturing animals to slaughter but meat isnt' bad...how we produce it is...but hey pork ribs are still great.

  • @MalloryJackson

Well we actually are evolved to eat meat; humans are omnivores. That's why we have canine teeth and molars, for meat eating and plant eating. However, the fact that something is natural doesn't make it ethical. That's why I'm a vegetarian.

I forgive you for not knowing that because your vegetarian intentions were good. And also because you're really hot. :)

  • @darmokandgalad haha We are not evolved to eat meat, were capable of eating cooked meat but if you took a bite out of a cow raw, first of all you wouldn't be able to chew the fur & meat second of all your body would not know how to digest it, third of all, all meats rot in your colon cause it cant exit as fast as other foods, so this can cause colon cancer. Due to this fact we are not natural meat eaters we've made meat accustom to us.

  • @MalloryJackson I'm a vegetarian, but I never thought about it this way! Great point!

  • @darmokandgalad actually if you compare how our bodies are constructed to herbivores or carnivores- we have many more similarities with herbivores. You should research it extensively first- not just base it off having sharp front teeth.

  • @MalloryJackson if humans didnt eat meat and been vegan pu ssys, the human race would have died long ago

  • @TheSnakeSalmon Haha my grandmother didn't eat meat she lived till 98

  • @MalloryJackson one, i have no reason to believe you not lying, because look at me Haha my grandmother ATE eat meat she lived till 98, and two, your grandmother only lived because she was spoiled and rich and had the comfort of picking every little fruit and vegetable to get all the essential nutrients, humans would have NEVER survived on vegetarians diets, that either proves we are omnivores, or humans themselves were not meant to get this far and advanced in life

  • @TheSnakeSalmon My grandma wasn't rich haha I'm not sure where your from but I feel if your not from a third world country you should really consider giving up meat because it's unnecessary! You seem angry for no reason maybe it's all the hormones in the meat your eating aww you poor thing take care <3

  • @armymedic999

for me, even though i know my body is meant to eat meat i dont agree with how its processed

i hate the way thet treat the animals

    its disgusting

  • I am trying to become a vegetarian.. I hate meat.. I feel ill eating it.. Its not giving meat up that is the problem its not getting low in different vitamins etc.. Would you happen to know the vegetables etc with the highest iron and protein?

  • @MissLoveAndLight Well dark green vegetables tend to have more iron then light green vegetables. When I eat salad I use spinach leaves instead of lettuce cause spinach has more iron. Other foods that contain a good amount of protein & iron are asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, beans, & many other vegetables!

  • @MalloryJackson

Thanks very much for your reply.. That is a good tip, replacing lettuce with spinach... I will start to do that. :-)

  • @MissLoveAndLight Eating kale and eggplant as well as whole grains such as quinoa are very helpful. They contain a lot of various types of proteins. Steam veggies or eat them raw as cooking anything decreases nutritional value. Also don't use microwaves as they generally kill 90% of nutrients from whatever you're cooking. Plus your food becomes radioactive material which is cancerous.

  • @MissLoveAndLight nuts, seeds, grains, legumes and plenty of green leafy vegetables, should have you set for iron and protein :)

  • Great video. It's rare to find a girl these days with a head on her shoulders.

  • @ZamatoElite Thank you so much I truly appreciate it

  • Im 13 now and Im not sure if I can make it being a vegetarian. I want to because my friend lost alot of weight but im still not sure! Thanks for the video!!!

  • meat ftw

  • I've been on a roll coaster with becoming vegetarian.

I don't like the way meat makes me feel.

    I'm always bloated.

Six months ago gave meat and felt great until my body went into shock.

So had to include some meat back into my diet. What advice can give to give up meat again?

  • @jmckn21 I would say learn how to replace meat with healthier choices such as boca burgers, or beans, rice, nuts, peanut butter, spinach, vegetables. Trust me if your giving you body the right things i'm sure it shouldn't go into shock.

  • Thank you for this, i'm going to be a vegetarian once again. I've been it before, and it was around a month but then suddenly everything just went wrong.

  • good video! I have recently been thinking about it becoming a vegetarian! I already have been eating products like morningstar veggie bites and veggie burgers and love them, but I had never really considered giving up meat all together until now. Do you have any other suggestions for me at all, or is that a dumb question? I just would love to know more about it!!! if you don't mind could you send me a message?

    thanks so much!

  • I'm struggling to become vegetarian.

I don't eat red meat or pork.

Six months ago I had cut out eating meat.

However, I've started back eating turkey, chicken and fish.

Would like to cut out meat out of my diet period.

    Any tips?

  • @jmckn21 I have been vegetarian for 4 yrs. now. I had a hard time at the beginning. Transition took about an year or so. Now after enjoying all the benefits I would never ever change back. What worked for me was to do it in steps and take time to accommodate yourself at each step. As soon as you feel comfortable with the step you took and you feel you are balanced, go to the next step you choose for yourself. See it as an opportunity and use all the support you can get. For specifics just ask :)

  • @jmckn21 Well my mom is like you she eats chicken & fish if you wan't to completely remove meat from your diet then do it slowly & learn a few new recipes without meat that have lot of vitamin B such as vegetables, whole grain, soy products & much more!

  • I'm struggling to become vegetarian.

I don't eat red meat or pork anymore.

However I still eat turkey, chicken and fish.

I want to cut out eating meat altogether.

I've tried it six months ago, but was getting weak.

Tell me this should I go cold turkey with giving up the few meats that I'm eating now?

  • @SonnyTheWhiteDwarf I personally don't eat eggs but I think organic eggs arn't bad

  • @MalloryJackson is it ture that you could lose 10 pounds by not eating meat in 1 month? because thats what my cousin said she did.

  • @jimmybennettfan4ever Ya if you eat right cause some people only eat carbs when they turn vegetarian cause they dont know exactly what to eat but if you eat the right foods of course!

  • @LifeISgOOd182 Well if you don't eat the right foods after you give up meat then its bad but if you find healthy ways to get protein you'll be fine. The mistake I made when I first turned vegetarian was I ate so many carbs cause I didn't know what I should eat so it's important to learn healthier eating habits

  • You dislike this video. Thanks for the feedback!

  • oops I meant offensive*

  • being a vegetarian costs too much money..not being offense just being real. I went 8 or 9 days without meat, dairy etc and I spent so much money and I was hungry and irritable most of the time

  • @shaytuck05 I don't understand how it would cost more money if your diet consists of main vegetables I'm sure spinach, corn, beans, & potatoes don't cost over $1 haha I understand if your going out to eat a lot sure but that can be the case whether your a meat eater or not.

  • @shaytuck05 I don't know how it's costing you so much money It's never been a problem for me I usually eat vegetables & that shouldn't be over $1 for a can. I can understand if your going out to eat but that doesn't matter if you eat meat or not going out to eat in general can be expensive.

  • @SonnyTheWhiteDwarf Why do you have such a racist monnicker? I hope your parents are proud of you....
