So really "the root of all evil" is just incomplete knowledge or poor understanding. If people could understand each other without being blindly rooted to a certain ideology or bias, they could come to sound conclusions. Fear itself is logical and necessary however, as there are limits to knowledge. What we don't know we are afraid of!

Hey Proteanview, are you aware that the Department of Homeland Security has the lowest morale of any government department. Their mission statement is so general as to be meaningless, their administration is hopeless, and their employees disgruntled and overworked doing things of little consequence. The DHS is like the girl with braces on Rebecca Black's "Friday"; hopeless and awkward but trying to look relevant.

They need to cut defense spending and put some of that money in things that will help our country. Even if its a small fraction it will help out a lot since we put so much into the defense budget.
