The best thing you could do for yourself is figure out how to get a reservation for Gloria's Wild Game Week. She's served me Himalayan Yak, Crocodile Tacos, Wapiti and I can't remember what else. And it's all delicious!

Lamb is such a good meat. I want to make a lamb caldereta (stew) someday; goat meat caldereta is yummy. Regarding burgers, my best one so far was at the Rapid City, South Dakota - a charbroiled buffalo burger but I found out that South Dakota is amazing when it comes to beef and buffalo meat.

Hey joefileman! The lamb caldereta sounds good -- let me know how it turns out if you make it :) Haven't been to South Dakota yet, but when I go I'll try a Buffalo burger! Chef Gloria uses buffalo for the Big 4 rib eye steak and it's very good.

Don't forget to charbroil the buffalo burger; I don't know how it would taste otherwise. Nebraska neighbors South Dakota and I hear the beef there is pretty good too.

In Vancouver, there is this place called Vera's Burger Shack. They have all kinds of burgers including Lamb and their meat is always fresh, never frozen. They have a Website as well. Just Google Vera's Burger Shack and you'll find it. If you're ever in Vancouver, they are definitely worth trying.
