at 3:53 the left player could have called priority on his draw phase and played mst, thus dust shoot wouldn't have been able to activate cuz he would have 3 cards in hand. turn player always has priority to activate a spell, trap or monster in it's respective phase of course...

after playing one for one kareem should have removed for spore and made hyper librarian then synced the bulb and token so he got 2 draws. mauricio already used both warnings

Maxx C is the best reason not to play dopple. If Mauricio went trish, kareem would have drawn 4 cards that turn. Instead, he just stopped with a really sub-par board.
