  • They drumline don't want to see memphis drumlines like us BTW. And I bet its the white people thats sayin that racist shit shut the fuck up will ya i'm mixed i like to be around black and white. They cold to be a New York drumline that does court style.

  • get the nigger out of my view

  • God the right side has some fat ass ugly black cheerleaders!!!!

  • nice stuff everyone! if nobody noticed, i thought it was interesting how one group was using traditional grip and the other match grip. btw A&T is over played, that should be something(if anything) a cadence to play together with both lines after the battle to show respect to each other in a jam session, it brings unity because some people are have poor sportsmanship. i was also just wondering, how was this done in a dome this large? where is this and how are two high schools able to do this???

  • @GregTheWhat it was during the state basketball playoffs here in WA.

  • @GregTheWhat By the way, their both during traditional stupid:P

  • @GregTheWhat BTW we don't over play we just argue time to time. They can't beat us i can garuntee that.

  • Both of the drumlines suck balls.. They sound like middle school bands.. ALL DIRTY AS FUCK!

  • Of course Garfield wasn't cut.:P It's okay...you don't want to show how good Curtis is and make you guys look bad. hahaha. Just messing around with ya.

  • get the fat black chick outta the front and put that fine ass blonde up there

  • Curtis killed them in coriography, but i think the other dudes had better beats. All in all though, i think curitis won.

  • another thing i always realize..why do sooo many drumlines try to be like A&T from drumline the movie?? if your a beginner drummer you might think its cool but as you progress you realize how stupid, dirty, and unoriginal it all is..why attempt to copy them? it makes the drumline look bad and look like desperate burn outs..

but what else can i expect from a black schools :/

  • @SlashingFear why would you say that?

  • Both drumlines sucked. Their roles were choppy and they played the same crap over and over again. The first drumline, I don't know who, had mixed matched drums and crapy players.

  • @CHSDRUMLINE47 lol... that is not Garfield's line anymore... that was somz playoff game with a few players. Tell me why Curtis never comes out to Garfield's competition? two years in a row they have bitched out... Keep in mind that Garfield spanked curtis hard in score at the tacoma show this year, waz funnnny Come see the change in hands cause curtis aint have a damn thing going on in their hands.. nuff said

  • wow..my friend made such a hype bout curtis high being great drumline..nah..

next time you see Caddey, tell him im gonna kill him

  • wow garfield would be gay and bring in the cheerleaders to hide the fact that Curtis' drumline was better

  • Comment removed

  • Silly black dancers and one white dancer that wants to be a black dancer.

  • I cringed, the entire video.

  • curtis is WAY better this year, hands down.

  • they just got knocked out of the playoffs. didnt even make it to state.

  • at least they made it to playoffs, it could've been worse

  • I'm sad we didn't make it.

The drumline is a lot better in my opinion. The cadences are more orginal and they actually move 0.o

  • is there an uncut version around?

  • @pandrewwerdnap you should see the uncut version where the curtis people shit all over the drums more than they do in this video... but that is edited out. At least you can hear when Garfield dirts out and makes mistakes. They are fixing that shit unlike the ninja mask bullshit excuse for drumming

  • scheindogg07- I was the lead quints player for curtis (far side at beginning). Pretty much I agree with everything you said. On the technique...well...I partially tore my rotator cuff the day before and wasn't even supposed to be playin. woops. And the cheerleaders were pretty gay haha

  • I would definately say that garfield won.

I have no biased either, seeing that im the lead tenor play at Newport High School.

That being said, curtis' tenors need QUITE A BIT of work on their technique, everything else was pretty decent(better than newport)

It was also a bitch move for garfield to bring their cheerleaders in.

    But GHS still won

  • @scheindogg07 are you aware that the cheerleaders just walked in?

Its not like that shit was planned....

  • the uncut version is .... priceless

  • to make garfields interesting they had to bring in their cheerleaders. curtis had that down. no wayt garfield is even close to curtis.

  • I went to Curtis. That didn't make me proud. Garfield was WAY better.

  • Both Drumlines were great. Personally I think Curtis won, but I go to Curtis lol!

  • yall some lames

  • Curtis def won!!! Curtis will always beat those ghetto good for nothing nigger dominated schools, dont get it wrong we have african americans at curtis, but no niggers like those girls on ur team

  • @jayjayclayjay you clearly have no drum knowledge

  • This was very fun im going to miss this drumline thanks for the battle it was cool

  • Curtis won for sure

  • HA!!

  • Man i hate drumlines that don't have the same drum in each section , but i guess it can't be helped.

  • a few cadences we changed but took from drumline the movie like one you guys said we stole from you

    but everything else was written

  • haha. Yeah pretty sure you didn't steal that from us...I like your version better anyway...you just need a good set o' quints.

  • we also have crap drums (Garfield)

plus Curtis only one set of cadences we over 30 minutes of cadences!

  • Garfield: Do you write all of your own? Or do you cheat a bit and use a book? Every single one of ours was written by one of our seniors this year. One was written on Tuesday of that week. This is Curtis' first year of having a real drumline, so the guys are just now starting to get the hang of it. Especially the bass. We've never had tonal bass or quint toms. You guys were fun to watch though. I had a blast. Even with a torn shoulder. --the quints guy

  • garfield defff won

  • and puggmysta- the vast majority of knowledgeable drummers would disagree with you; GHS had a much cleaner sound and much more difficult cadences

  • i think no one really one

you guys have pretty good snares and snare parts

but your bass aren't very good

    and your quads are ok

    but you guys are good

  • tyromeelis09- we did the cadence with the same snare part because we did it better. the point was to show that we could show you up playing something that came from the same place. almost every school has a version of that snare clicking; I like hearing different schools' versions because it is a great way to showcase their style. yours was fast and busy (with a little bit of slop), ours was a lot more funky, with a heavy groove (with very little sloppiness).

  • SODANOOOOO

  • lol...

    Yeah that was fun.

  • Curtis won. that one fat black kid with the bass drum is amazing

  • aahh! i missed that game! any way go CURTIS!

  • i wanna do a cadence like Garfields second one. a latin feel. and the one white girl dancer looks so out of place. haha
