  • Started with af in 2007 I was just 37 , would not wish af on anyone . I can't tell you how frightening this disease is . living with it from day to day. If you discover you have af seek specialist help . Research it ,find a specialist ,do not be referred to cardiologist who does not specialise in af. I had a full ablation 6 months after being diagnosed although I still get odd beats now and then I have a future to look forward to .a future where af does not run my life.

  • @martyn1215 I am a healthy 35 year old female. Ive had just 4 AF attacks in 6 months and am being considered for a ablation. They have new laser technology now, but I am still a little worried. Please could you advise me of anything that might help, would be so grateful. I feel a bit alone and scared. Many thanks

  • Great video.

I have just had a successful ablation for AF and my world is now completely different. I had LONE AF for over 2 years, I knew that I needed an ablation while still paroxismal yet it took 2 years to get to an agressive cardioligist, all the while knowing it the AF was progressing to permanent and as such diminishing the chances of success. All the best in your quest to raise the profile of this debillitating condition.

  • Finally, an explanation of what its really like to suffer from ATRIAL FIBRILLATION.
