@4Peterr20 No these bands where from opposites sides of England, Rob "The Baron" Miller has always been the singer and bassist for Amebix. The reason why they sound so much alike is because they generally had the same influence at the time the great bands of Motorhead and Black Sabbath.

Amebix were one of my favorite bands from when I first heard them in 1987, when I was living in squats in Melbourne with the 'Orphans'. We all listened to their albums every day. Even got 'Arise' tattooed on my back. Thanks for putting their music on here, ****ing brilliant!

It must've been a little odd back when these guys first emerged into the punk scene. These guys were indeed punk but they were WAY different than ANY other band. They were pretty much their own form of punk. And that form was Crust Punk. Thank you Amebix for giving us Crust.

Hey, if you like Venom I suggest you check out the band NME if you haven't already. They're raw and powerful as fuck. Their album "Unholy Death" and their demo "Machine of War" kick ass.
