Great Britain has no capital, it is merely a geographic island. London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. Both of these include the Isle of Wight, which is not part of Great Britain. Wales includes Anglesey, which is not part of Great Britain. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, but not Great Britain.

I can understand that American are not well-educated. But British people should be well-educated especially in things which have to do with their history.

Great Britain has no capital, it is merely a geographic island. London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. Both of these include the Isle of Wight, which is not part of Great Britain. Wales includes Anglesey, which is not part of Great Britain. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, but not Great Britain.

@kentcyclist The Isle of White is it's own County, and is not a part of Hampshire. Check Wikipedia if you don't believe me. And you're right about the Isle of Man.

Dont apologise to them. Id love to live there and know the Island very well. Done alot cycling there. I even worked out once that if you lived on the eastern part of the Island it would be possible to commute to London. Id suffer abuse every day to live there but still you get that every day wherever you live unless you are a bully yourself it seems

No Norther Island is not partt of Great Britian. Northern island is the province of Ulster. Its the United Kinggdom of Great Britain and Norther Island. Otherwise it would just be the United Kingdom of Great Britain. But the title of British Isles can be given to Ireland and Great Britain together as its a geographic area and not a political thing.

I LOVE my London and it has certainly NOT gone to the dogs as one idiot said in this vid! it is an awesome place to work and live...and most people wish they cld live here..I am a NATIVE Londoner, pop over and listen to my authentic accent :)
