You guys gotta rethink your business model. There's no way in hell I'm going to pay as much as you want for all that hardware, and then pay $140 a year to keep it all working. Outrageous. Have the hub unit contain a Web server so that the systems can be totally self-sufficient, tell people how to open ports on their routers, and then direct cell phone apps and other stuff to the individual IP addresses. IDK why you guys have to be in the picture. Once your starter pack is $99, I'll buy in.

Its too bad the membership is $13 a month. Over a $140 a year just to gain access to hardware that is purchased at full price and for Internet thats paid separately to a ISP.

The business model is a greedy one.

@0805bryan: You need a starter unit. Step one for you is probably to learn English enough to read or listen to the instructions (or cheat and use Google Translate).

this is such a rip off. 12.99 a month? they could of easily given the software with web server capabilities and have it for free. i would of gotten this if they didnt have this 12.99 a month thing, and just gave a web server program
