I just submitted my dispute claim for one of my videos with copyright claim content, but when I went back to check on its status it is still listed in the Content ID matches category, so I'm not sure if it worked or not. Don't say "song", because they don't recognize it for any other material you use. I tried the one that was for all videos in general and it worked, but if it only mentioned songs, it still is blocked. I'm sad. Youtube you suck.

@Pigot98 Go to your videos, then to "Content ID". click "View COpyright Info" on the video you need unblocked. Click, "Learn about the Dispute Process" at the bottom, then on the next screen, click the option on the right - "I know enough to submit my claim." Then follow the rest of the instructions here.

Many videos like this describe the same actions. Many times they work. One thing a lawyer told me that people should think about: If the audio comes back after you follow this procedure, be aware that the copyrighter will maybe be ATTRACTED to your account which MAY,,,, cause other troubles and or videos to be observed or muted or taken down(account STRIKES). 5 times I thought of doing the above and each time I ended up not doing it. DO THIS: alter the sound of the material on your video editor!

@audito92 you have to delete the video if you get to many dispute infractions you'll get your account banned just like mine was.

The only way is edit your video and include commentary so the video is not an exact rip of the video in question. Even then that doesn't always work.

Once the video is disabled past the point of being able to dispute it Youtube is done with the dispute process on that particular video, Just delete it and move on

This works for a time but....some of the music companies just keep their copyright claim no matter what i.e meaning the audio will come back for a very short time but..because they know you as an individual have no recourse you claim fair use and they just say no we are still claiming copyright..
