The Close Quarters combat achievement was easy for me because I remember that there sniper ammo on broad the ship. I wasted all my rounds and remembered to fill up before ending the level.

For the "Close quarters combat" ach. you can just turn on the skull that gives you unlimited ammo. It worked for me,

Bandanna makes it much easier to have rounds in the sniper.

When I did Beachhead, I turned on the Grunt Funeral skull to help kill enemies faster. I did the grunts on the left, then right, then went up the middle pushing forward like was shown in the video.
