Sadly, yes. It happens in other places too. Hunting for amusement and entertainment by inadequate males in need of something to compensate for the lack of potency. More money than testosterone. Hopefully, their poor chances of reproduction will remove their kind from the gene pool.

I don't know why that is. It's always been like that for as long as there has been humans on this planet. Killing for amusement should be outlawed in all cases. Unfortunately this unlikely to happen. As humanity kills its own kind for the most petty of reasons, what chance do the other animals have?
