  • I like your video. I think it's really cool. With all due respect, however, the actual application of the achilles lock is incorrect. The angles are wrong. This is easily defended against and will cause very little damage. The correct way to apply this hold is...

    maybe another time.

I do, however, like your video. I'll be watching them all eventually.

  • I laughed at top comment before video buffered :D

  • y dont u use the other leg that is not in use and kick em in the crotch

  • @SLAPYOURMOM1 If you're already breaking his leg, it's not really necessary to split your attention by tapping him on the balls at the same time.

  • Comment removed

  • @weaponXAnimosity TKD.. is useless in closerange.... id rather to stick in muay thai than TKD but i also like jiu jitsu

  • TKD sucks....

  • Except that it's almost impossible to apply that much pressure in this lock.. Pros know to never tap to this, because no actual damage is being done.. I'd switch to a heel hook instead

  • @JonOlavEinemo2 Very true. I've seen many fighters get caught in this and endure the pain just to wait for the other guy to get tired of squeezing. If you can grit it through the pain, it works.

  • My wife is gonna be in for a surprise tonight :D

  • Good against 1-on-1. But never want to be on the floor when it's just you against 3+ people.

  • The only thing I don't like about this, is it looks like you're putting YOUR ankle up near his arms. So, while it's unlikely, if he's really quick he could probably put a similar hold on you, couldn't he?

  • @TheEndKing Yes, leg lock wars can occur when a fighter attempts a submission like this. Rarely, though, do two fighters actually apply the hold at the same time and try to wait out the other. Usually theyre' just scrambling to get the lock first or escape.

    tdFto8j-OPA

  • the best

  • wow ankle lock

  • My brother done that to me a couple days ago luckily not breaking my leg

Im probably gonna get some twat reply to this saying 'I wish he broke your Leg'

  • why does all the pictures on the videos look like porn, hey this one looked like what lesbians do (scissoring)

  • @Aaron97oD There are millions upon millions of ways to hurt an other human being. Many of these methods invariably involve close contact, because you obviously have to be at a close range to break someone's arm or leg.

Most martial artists are comfortable performing these moves in practice and don't view these techniques from a sexual perspective. As amazing as it may seem to you, not everyone in the world has the mentality of a homophobic 12-year-old.

  • @ThePinkMan Shut up dude seriously, im not saying its gay otherwise i wouldnt be going to jiu jitsu tonight

  • @Aaron97oD So you train jiu-jitsu but you still go around and say these techniques look like porn? Yep, you still have the mentality of a 12-year-old.

  • i think the shin in his balls hurts more than his leg

  • i just want to say, alot of us arent that musculaer...or naked.

  • did i see the silver guy hit his head on the ground HARD?

  • why doesnt it show bring both legs over and on each side of your opponents leg so he cant slip out?

  • @subaruracer107 It's an animation. They can't get everything right.

  • @subaruracer107 Because the opponent is an animated training dummy, so he can't slip out anyways.

  • I rather watch to girls scissor than than 2 gray guys

  • dont ever pick a fight with a grey guy

  • Hey fuckers if they give it to you then take it. It's nice to know this move. Also this is a one on one move when nobody else is around. Expect maybe a teacher or a ref. If you try this when there are other people around that you don't know I would say you got a 99% chance someone or more than one person is going to kick you in the head repeatedly. Enough said lets get to it.

  • Wow people don't know the difference from a heel hook from an achilles lock. Heel hooks are VERY dangerous and in my class are banned below brown belt. Achelles hold is very painful but will not destroy knee and ankle. I come from a catch back ground but I'm an advance black belt in BJJ. They used to hate leg locks know they love them cause there so effective.

  • @gungfu777 lol it is a heel hook

  • @apimpnameslipback1 this leg lock is a non competition straight ankle lock, normally taught to teach mechanics of the leg lock, generally because it is easy to escape unless they get the chance to tighten it up, they would role to their side, and pull back, raising your hips, whereas a heel hook would be rolling the opposite side, with radius bone on the heel, bringing it to your chin, and rotating your body, to implement the technique which causes serious damage and is banned in BJJ all levels.

  • @B3nBo1194 its not banned in all levels some comps just say white belts cant do any leglocks or heel hooks

  • @l3054 in all GI levels white to black, and onwards heel hooks are banned, some leg locks are limited depending on grade, but NO GI is different you can implement the heel hook etc.

  • @B3nBo1194 you shouldve said that then yea cause gi pants give you way too much grip

  • All the other guy have to do is use the other leg and swing in like an axe kick to the grapper's face. Its like right there... Another useless move...

  • @hvuu Just type Ken Shamrock vs. Pat Smith into Google.

  • @hvuu It is not useless, if you can tighten it up, then it will work, in BJJ you would hardly every use the straight ankle lock due to the easy way to get out if their slow in tightening it up, by moving their leg across your hip and using their knee on the other leg as leverage to adjust your base. opening for an easy armbar, but normally in competition, you would turn to your side to apply the anlke lock, this is to teach mechanics this straight ankle lock.

  • this is the silver surfers training videos

  • i freaking will kill people with this move ha

  • Lol. Chonnen did that to Anderson Silva. Hahaha

  • @sonatakrump

Actually, Chonnen did a heel hook. Different move. A heel hook twists the knee. It's considered to be among the most painful submissions and one of the most potentially damaging ones as well. That's why Silva tapped before it was even locked in, because there is like a two second span between "I think I can fight this off" and "AGGGGH! ARGH! He broke my leg! He broke my fucking leg!"

  • @SomeGuyYeah007 Indeed sir, It is banned in Brazilian jiu jitsu, due to the damage it causes, it is designed to dislocate the knee, break the ankle, destroy tendons and ligaments and causes serious nerve damage if applied correctly, like you said it is best to tap out before it is applied.

  • one of the worst pains in life.

  • this is the non competition version of the straight ankle lock, because its generally easy to escape unless the do tighten it, but its easier to turn to your side and use your hips and pull back, or the heel hook which is banned in most competitions that I know off due to the life term damage it can cause.

  • difficult technique: the victim should kick in the face of the aggressor. it's one of the first things you learn in KRAV MAGA

  • @joker88a21 More difficult to do than you'd think :L

  • @LunaWolf217 trust me, it's almost impossible to grasp the leg of someone on the ground like that; if you do not believe me, try it with a friend: probably you'll take a few kicks

  • @joker88a21 I'm a pankratiast, participated in national tryouts in April, won a couple of matches using this lock believe it or not, one of the best around, so yeah, trust me, i know what I'm talking about ;D

  • @joker88a21 You don't know what you're talking about, dude. For point of reference, look up Pat Smith vs. Ken Shamrock. In the fight, Shamrock applies a leglock similar to this and Smith tries to break out of it by kicking. Smith fails to get out and ends up getting his leg injured.

  • @ThePinkMan

The hold he used was a heel hook. That's some evil shit right there.

  • He would escape this hold easily since he didn't squeeze his legs together while cranking the heel

  • @Biebersucksdick1 Good. When you're training and sparring in a gym, you develop muscle memory and can perform techniques naturally in a live situation.

Also, no martial artist really utilizes every single technique when they fight. Typically they have a few things they're good at, which are most likely basic techniques.

  • @Biebersucksdick1 By actually going to a martial arts school and being taught them rather than trying to learn them from Youtube.

  • cool move... its so simple but does much damage to the leg.. thx man,

  • i'd love do this if my friend playfully pulls my leg when im downed and put his shoes on my cock

  • I would start tickling the bottom of my enemys feet :)

  • kurde ja się tego nauczyłem tak w miarę i pewnego razu chciałem zrobić ten chwyt i delikwent nie leżał na plecach tylko starał się podnosić i nie czuł tego tak bardzo żeby odklepać co wtedy ???

  • Omg, this is more disturbing than that kamasutra video I saw the other day!

    P. Griffin

  • i did this to my friend when we were wrestling, i didnt know it was an actual move.

  • You can also stomp their balls while doing this

  • @Umimugo But by international law, that would be against the Man Code.

  • @5amuu ...what?

  • @Umimugo as in it's generally agreed by men that punching someone in the balls is never ever acceptable lol.

  • while in the position, you could just smash the other guys balls with your foot....

  • @DomoFX u can try but if that guy is pushing his hips up and pulling that foot of yours, the last thing u thinking about is that u have a lot of pain (believe me i speak out of experience:P) sorrie for bad english

  • sooo... if i took someones achilles tendon... i cud hold up 400 pounds with it? im thinking plus-size swingset over here

  • that lock hurts bad, seriously lol:p

  • The Orange World is a tough place! Born with no genitals, grey skins, and for survives you have to repeat again and again lethal martial techniques....Ah i also forgot the crazy equations and maths formulas when you throw a punch or put an armlock.... damn think about the Grey Mens!

  • Is this the move Chonan did to Anderson?

  • @stratocaster1986able No, that was a flying heel hook.

  • these submissions leave you vulnerable to get an ankle lock done to you at the same time. Not to mention permanent tendent damage.

  • He should wrap his legs over the leg he's attacking the Achilles , use your hips to pivot and attack the knee at a 45 degree angle at the same time. You can lock both in at the same time and one or the other will cause an immediate tap.

    (Catch wrestling)

  • I never knew that scissoring was a martial arts move!

  • You should NOT put your other leg on your opponent like that, he can do a reversed ankle lock. Wtf guys, cant you make this gray men anime alittle better, using alittle more research.

  • What's the difference between this and a heel hook and which is more dangerous and why ? If there's any difference that is .

  • @VitaNegern77 This is a compression lock (where a muscle is pushed into a bone) that affects the tendons mentioned in this video. The heel hook is most effective at tearing ligaments in the knee, it is more of a joint lock.

  • OhOh.. this is how Achilles was supposed to die..

  • @NewNecro No, Achilles was shot in the heel with a poisoned arrow.

  • @TheUSMC2017

Err.. maybe I wrote my post badly:

I know that he was shot by Paris helped by Apollo, I just mean that Achilles could've also died with this move since it's focuses on the muscles of his weak point.

    Sorry my english.

  • @NewNecro Oh I see.

  • @NewNecro Pretty sure it would have been impossible to get your hands on Achilles in the first place.

  • after that, the opponent's balls will be wide open for you to take a fatal shot ;D

  • if this were krav maga they've probably say to kick him in the groin at the same time lol

  • Even though this simulation is obviously showing human male fighters, they don't have any genitals...

  • EVERYBODY SKA!

  • @Ikaato

i don't know if i understood your question but

many times, when a guy goes for an achiles lock, the opponent can also do it... so don't try it if you don't know how to do it well :D

  • is this japanese or greek

  • @ChineseMonstah Greek. Pankration is an ancient Greek martial art practised by Alexander the Great and his forces.

  • The silver guy on the ground thought he was going to get laid at the beginning.

  • I dont get this move. couldnt the other guy pull your leg as well if you do that?

  • @iKaato not really...cus there is going to be alot of pain on your peg.

  • Achilles lock vs knee lock, knee lock wins 70% of the times. If u can do an Achilles lock, u can do a heel hook, and heel hook win.

  • Thumbs up if you would crap yourself if one of these grey guys wanted to fight you!!

  • @12345678900emiry can i like this more than once?

  • @12345678900emiry

Considering the have no balls and apparently have skin made out of metal i sure as hell would.

  • @12345678900emiry RUN NIGGA RUN NIGGA!

  • they have no dick?

  • the oldest martial art .... ! born in Greece ... !

  • @Erebonis isnt boxing the oldest

  • @Erebonis

the oldest martial art is boxing. It was born in africa.

  • @2431346 are you serious??? boxing was born in ancient greece...

  • @peireotis13

the Sport was, but people have been doing it way before that.

  • greeks have the best martial art!!!! im proud to be one :D

  • This video shows the demonstration wrong. The one being submitted just simply needs to come forward. The one performing the submission needs to take the leg that he let slide underneath his opponent, and place it on his stomach. That enables him to have more leverage with the submission, as well as keeping the opponent on the mat. That was pretty poor.

Though, I will say, that does hurt. I've had pains for days due to that.

  • this move leaves the thingies WIDE OPEN fer attack

  • @DancingSpiderman lol but there no need for that since you can break they leg if they try to move

  • @dog74586 OK how about this instead... break their leg 1st with this achilles lock, and THEN hammer fistas to the thingies ?

  • @DancingSpiderman what with you and balls 0.e

  • @dog74586 well, the answer to yer question is: Look at the grey guy's nutz area... IT'S A WIDE OPEN TARGET !! No protection whatsoever !! Yet the white guy has to pleasure his own damn foot fetish.

The white dude is doing all these intricate complicated things to wrassle with the grey guy's foot, but the white guy only needs to smash what is directly in front of him all along -- the balls.

  • @DancingSpiderman ok lets say you do kick his balls...he find you and beat the shit out of you

but if you break his leg he will never be able to to fight you or walk ever again

  • @dog74586 I've been kicked in the balls, not even full force, by a beautiful Korean woman, while sparring in TaeKwonDo. I was in the middle of a back kick to her, she tagged my nutz while I was faced away from her.

I don't know if you ever been kicked in the balls before, even just a slight jab like I had. You don't have any fight in you when you get tagged. In the two minutes it took for me to barely start to recover , you can be long gone, walked away.

She screamed then laffed out loud.

  • @DancingSpiderman When I got kicked by her in my nutz, I yelled, I saw a flash of light in front of my eyes, and both my legs just folded, I couldn't break my fall onto the padded floor, I fell on my left side of my face, crumpled.

She screamed, I went down, and she put her hands to her mouth, AND SHE WAS LAUGHING AT ME !! Out loud.

My eyesight had just returned three seconds after the kick, just in time to see her pointing at me, laughing out loud at me.

    Yer balls are vulnerable.

    THE END.

  • @DancingSpiderman am not going to end this..

what if the person find you and he has an gang this time then what?

and ya i got kicked in the balls before just not as bad as you

  • @dog74586 haha...

  • @DancingSpiderman then you dead meat :p lol now we end it

  • @dog74586 well... NO.

Before your ball-kicking gang sets down on me, I'd give myself several seconds to preach to them first... "what...? You guys are wanting to ...what...kick me in the ballz? IS THAT ALL YOU GUYS GOT? you guys are not even a decent gang... you are walking single file at me! You guys should be surrounding me. Didn't you guys learn proper gang fighting stance? what-what...WHAT?!?

They look confused. I walk away. I called them Pussy but they didn't hear me. now-THE END.

  • @DancingSpiderman no you don't diss gangs that an bad move

they take guns and start shooting at you and leave you for dead in an ally

    now it the end

  • @dog74586 DNE EHT - - THE END

balls are not for kicking -- balls are your future family tree.

  • @DancingSpiderman thank you for agreeing with me :P lol now it THE END

  • @DancingSpiderman i loled so hard on that comment xD

  • thats an ankle lock not a leg lock...

  • HEEL HOOOOOK!!!!!! lol

  • AUCH!!

  • Instead of getting into a fight, i'd rather talk it out over a beer.

Beer $4, or Medical bills $50K.

  • @bloodstone1445 That's some expensive beer there.

  • @bloodstone1445 beer many times is a catalyst to such needs to fight.

  • @bloodstone1445

here a beer is 1€ in store or at a bar its 3,50€ - 5€ xD

  • @bloodstone1445 not if you live in England. medical treatment = free =)

  • @kh4n5 - That's why brits are always rolling round outside night clubs and kebab houses! ;o)

  • @jammin1881 that made me LOL ;)

  • @bloodstone1445 - yeah if only all battle fields had a bar!

  • @bloodstone1445 Your life going on, priceless

  • @bloodstone1445 nice thought but it doesn't always work out that way especially when the attacker is under the influence of alcohol or narcotic drugs or just is too full of adrenaline to see reason. having said that i do agree to talk the problem out if at all possible but as i stated above it doesn't always work out so nicely :-)

  • @bloodstone1445 medical bills in the us: 50.000 , europe: 4$

  • @bloodstone1445 amen to that , hopefully the other guy agrees that "windhoek lager" is the best beer ;D

  • @bloodstone1445 uk medical bills = £0 so its beer first then fight

  • @bloodstone1445 Or you could move to the UK, Beer £5, Medical Bill £0

  • @bloodstone1445 Well said mate.

  • @bloodstone1445 Then you are a stronger man than most

  • @bloodstone1445 hahaha

  • @bloodstone1445 but with obamas new health care the medical bills won't be there and we can beat each other up carelessly

  • @bloodstone1445 Not with Obamas no healthcare idea. Medical bills $FREEEEE

  • So... you can snap someones foot off?

  • @Slordse foot off? no. but you can snap the Achilles tendon. making that foot pretty useless.

  • @Slordse

Yep. Well, asuming you tear all the tendons and ligaments, and the skin holding the package. You can easily decimate someones ankle, wrist, elbow, knee, hip, with joint and limb locks.

  • @Slordse Snap, yes, snap it off? no.

  • the offensive person has his right leg in a bad position, under the thigh, thuse allowing the defender to raise his heel to smash down lots of power on his opponents body. achilles leg lock is awsome, but remember to put your heel over your opponents thigh to protect your self

  • make a diva tap

  • since pankration fighters fight naked, there must have been some REALLY uncomfortable submission techniques.

    "Wait......what are you........I SURRENDER, I SURRENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @kjun13 yeah i gree

the *plug was one of the favorite moves during nekkid Greek times

    no lube

  • At 6 seconds, what is stopping the darker guy from grabbing the lighter dudes ankle and snapping it?

Not trying to be a dick, I'm genuinely curious.

  • @retardedcommandobot too much pain, you will tap before you get him into an ankle lock, and an ankle lock takes a bit to get someone to tap with, unlike this move.

  • @Tehmedic101 Thanks for clearing that up, haha

  • shootingnerd, is it rly what you call your FRIEND?

btw nice move, pretty cruel though, not something you should do when it's not necessary 0.0

  • The achilles lock is wrongly ilustrated here. If you leave the opponent's heaps free like it can be seen in this clip, he will easily defend or escape. The idea of the leg placed on the opponent is to fix his heap. Your knees should also be tightly closed around the opponent's knee in order to prevent him to extend the foot. I wonder who made these ridiculous animations...

  • @out5yder What your saying does make sense, so I think they screwed up.

  • kick his balls and game over

  • @damianbugsbunny That's what cowards and chickens with small cocks and no courage ussually do ;)

  • @slim240293 no...thats what educated, muscle inefficient, testosterone lacking individuals usually do.

  • If you want something for multiple opponents study Tai chi. If you think I'm joking go read a book first.

  • This move is demonstrated wrong. You have to sit up high when you apply the lock. If you lean back you limit the range of motion and the tendon often cannot be stretched far enough before the foot hits the ground.

  • @sacredrage if you're not careful you'll rip your OWN tendons if you lean back LOL

  • your supposed to pinch the knees together

  • this is probably my favorite joint lock submission its so fast n easy 2 get locked in

  • i made a tap out in wresaling because i learned this move and went to state with it and got second

  • this is my favorite lock

  • i got into a fight the other day, he only landed 2 punches out of eight, and i kicked him in the side of the head, knocked him down, mounted him and ground n pounded his face , now its fucked, he has a swollen eye and black eye, big cut in his cheekbone, 3 missing teeth and a broken nose, and now i have to pay hospital bills

  • @lilgoalieman You hurt him and put him in the hospital. That's a felony.

  • @colin70000

yeah but he made my little brother bleed in his head and if i didnt go toe to toe with him he would of gave him a cuncussion and he was the one who started it by calling me on

  • @lilgoalieman Starting has little relavence. Defending your brother is another matter.

  • good job champ go fuck yourself
