This song is so sad! My hubby is in afghan, and everyday our 2year old asks for him.

This is song is true. I cant count how many times I have heard my daughter ask for daddy to come kiss her booboo, or tuck her in at night.

This song made me cry... it is truely beautiful. Im enlisting in the navy and my boyfriend is trying to go army NG along with one of our friend. It is difficult for family to go with out loved ones like that :(

You are very welcome, but if tears were the only thing you received from the video, then I am sorry. Yes, I wanted to reveal the despair these children so intensely experience. It must be made known in order to fully appreciate the sacrifice made by these families. However, in doing so, I wanted to highlight the hope Christ brings to the very worst of circumstances.

Thank you for posting. My brother died in Iraq about 2 months before Christmas when we found out my niece who is 2 and my nephew 1 told me all they want for Christmas is their daddy to come home. They miss him so much as do i.

I realize there are no words to repair the wounds left by this void. I know everything we hold dear in this life will someday pass away, including our own lives. Only in Christ Jesus is there any hope of making sense of it all. The hope and peace He offers can never be stripped from us, even through the doors of death. At that moment may we be filled with joy in the realization we are truly home.

I have watched two of these videos tonight, and I want to say thank you! My husband is also deployed and I have not been able to cry for a while, afraid of not being able to stop! lol *sniff* You are right, miagirl, they do feel like this most of the time.

This touched home with us. We just found out yesterday my husband, who has been in Iraq for 11 months now, has to go on a convoy and won't be able to call us for Christmas:( My lil girl is just so sad. She laid in a corner and cried. This song is exactly what our military children feel during holidays and just everyday, to be honest.

No, it is WE who should be thanking YOU and your family for the service your husband, and others like him, give to our country! Most men will fight to protect life and property when the enemy is attacking their gate and the threat is eminent. However, it is truely the best among us who seflessly leave all they cherish and take a stand far beyond our borders. It is an honor to have had this song heard and enjoyed by one of their own.
