It's entirely up to us to do what we believe is right or to ignore that instinct and do wrong. I think there are some things that God won't interfere in but there is a master plan. All of the sacred texts are valid but I would not say they are "the Word of God" per se. They are just guidelines on how we, as human beings, should try to coexist here on this earth.
