I went on a "celebrity home tour" like this in the Bahamas, I think it was Nassau, and the Bahamian guy who headed the tour sounded and acted the EXACT same way, he would try to be very funny and friendly and say very scripted things, saying some kind of joke about The "Michael Jackson" suite of the Atlantis Resort, saying: I don't know what they're going to call it now... But that whole act is just to garner better tips, and i works, i felt more inclined to give him a better tip than usual.
