Along with Marvin Gaye (who's vocal range peaked at an incredible 4 octaves), these two are probably the two greatest male soul vocalists to have ever graced popular music. And the tragedy of both of their lives and the struggle makes the music take on a more surreal, more alive meaning than any other artist to take the microphone. The soul and the pain of blues are truly found within Ray Charles' music.

Funny thing is sight is just a perception of light by the brain, we all seem to "see" the same colors but that is only because when i was shown a blue crayon, I told it was blue, the person telling me had no idea what I saw and never could. What is your blue?
