@sounds73 it's not a seizure, corgi's get hiccups all the time. I have three and have six all together in my family and my mom works with a lady who has bred corgis. It's very normal especially for puppies to get them, its cause they tend to suck in a lot of air when they drink and eat cause they tend to have (much like their bodies) long tongs. You can tell he's not having a seizure cause he wakes up and makes himself more comfy.. a seizing dog would not be able to do that.

I dont know a lot about Corgis - My daughter has a Penbroke and I just love him. does anyone know if the Cardigan and Penbroke are similar in behavior etc. They do look similar. I love love love big dogs (I have a Great Pyr) but my daughters Corgi just has tugged at my heart strings.

@dzef07 Yeah...But its hard when their too young to drink water. Course instead, if you make them feed, it can help get rid of them. Though I think sometimes rubbing them down their back (like from their neck down their back) gently, can help sometimes too...

@AdorableProduction lol, yeah...It makes you feel sorry, but when their little its hard to help them. the most you can do is either rub then from their neck down their back, (more lke stroke them actually, gotta be gentle after all), or, have them feed. And when old enough, make them drink water...

The black and white cardigan welsh corgis remind me of karelian bear dogs. My grandparents have owned karelian bear dogs for years, my grandfather is from Finland. When I get my own corgi, I hope it's the black and white one. :)
