this dude cross contaminates left and right. Think about how many other people he marked with that pen, or even worse, what parts of thier body that pen touched. i dont give a fuck who you think you are, marking cheeks correctly is not a quick process. And the fact to have your fucking client hold your forcepts at any point during any piercing is completely unprofessional and unsanitary. using forcepts for anything is useless anyhow, its for lazy piercers.
I don't have very noticable dimples, haha, but I got them done anyways because it was something I wanted done for a very long time. I actually took mine out at the beginning of last May. I had them for six months, and I agreed to take them out so my mom would agree to letting me get my bridge piercing done [which I've wanted longer]. But they leave small marks, and now my dimples are a lot more noticeable.
You can have them done in anchors, or all the way through. I had mine done all the way through, though. My piercer didn't have a problem with moving them closer to my mouth, he just told me to be careful because the cheeks are one of the hardest places to heal, due to it being in the mouth and on the outside of your face.
im thinking about getting this during christmas vacation..but i cant have piercings at school. do u think they'll be ready to change to the clear piercing thingys (if they are able to be hidden) when school starts again a few weeks later?
i'm considering on getting my dimples pierced... but im so fucking scared!!! could the piercer numb the cheeks or do i just have to deal with the pain.?
Your cheeks are the hardest place to heal, and depending on the person's immune system it can take anywhere from 6-12 months for them to heal properly and fully.
I didn't actually feel it when they did it. Usually you feel a small pinch, but that's about it. :]
It's just where I wanted them to sit around my mouth. I'd been considering the placement of them fo almost six months, so I thought it through really well.
I'm in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. =] Way up north, haha. We don't get many tattoo or body mod. professionals coming up here, but Moltens Tattoos opened up January-February of 2008. My brother recommends Dragon F/X in the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta.
those aint dimple piercings they should be center of ur cheecks no next to ur lip.. do u like them like that? if so then cool., id be pissed if he did mines like that and i didnt want it like that so as long as datz what u wanted
no sense in calling the person that did them a retard.. she told him where to put them.. she chose where she wanted them.. anyways I think it's cute.. not for me but cute for others.. lol
Lol, thanks. :] now that they aren't swollen, they look pretty rad right where they are. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm happy with how they turned out.
Dimples are hard to get them to show, depending on the person. Use a shorter post, like a labret stud, but not until after they're done healing, or you could create a hole which will cause problems in a proper healing process.
I recommend not changing it to a short post until about the two month mark.
Sometimes when people grow older their face matures and when the bone structure changes, dimples can disappear.
If anything, I'd say it's because you're looking weight in your face, because you should lose the baby fat that causes most people to have dimples when they're younger.
Ur friend needs to learn how to record!

o okaii thankyouu :) also how long did they hurt for? :)
TheOnlyBijal 2 years ago
Mine were only slightly painful for about two weeks. Which isn't too bad in my opinion considering you're piercing the centre of your face. Hahaha.

@TheOnlyBijal NO!

how bad did it hurt?
devie1995 2 years ago
It didn't, not much at least. The actual piercing you barely feel, but for about 2-3 weeks afterwards it'll be swollen and a bit painful.

I got mine done in Cranbrook B.C. at a piercing studio called Hemp 2000.
Dan there does all my piercings, he charges $100 for both sides :)
The man knows his stuff too.
SullivanLov3 2 years ago
Oh, and mine were 75 dollars a side, haha. Since it's rare to see a piercer up here, I didn't expect them to be any lower. =]

Your dimples are different on everyone. It's where the crease shows up when you smile, and where I got them done is where my dimples are.
