  • Patrick Henry was a populist.

  • You lost me at the 2:30 mark with the Mexican accent. You sounded like an actor even before that.

  • I hope I get it and this is a practical joke where you are using a populist discourse yourself to critisize populism. Otherwise I think I agree: it's too much for you...

  • I never joke around when criticizing the ills of laissez-faire capitalism. In a society where productivity and agriculture are gobbled up by fewer and fewer corporations, jobs are being offshored and outsourced at an alarming rate, where globalization & out of control immigration are destroying local economies and cultures, and as the distributist rightly foretold, the centralization of the means of production and wealth into fewer hands is the golden brick road to socialism. No laughing matter

  • It is not the minority elite that are imposing themselves on the majority, but the RICH ELITE need and want the minorities to be part of the society.

Diversity is a tool of the elite to divide and conquer. This is nothing new. Ever heard of divide et impera? The rich have long used diversity to prevent the masses from uniting and rebelling against the elite.

Minority civil rights are how the elite drive down wages by increasing the supply of labor and preventing unity in hte workplace.

  • Wow great video. I think the masses are going to have to wake the hell up pretty soon. The media denied a recession for years only to say recently that we've been a recession for a year plus. WTF???!!! The people should only trust them selves and reclaim their power. We must start unifying now. Great video!

  • this guy speaks the truth, the rise of nationalism is here, and we will take back America.

  • I have been on three of your threads/vids where I thought your ideas were bigoted, historically distorted and religously slanted. BUT, BUT, you have a very good subplot here. Now do us all a favor and study when MONEY became "freedom of speech" and when lobbysits gained power. Not sideline power, but more power than our elected officials themselves have. This government was set up to give the common man the same voice as the rich. You are on the right track, don't get stuck in your ego.

  • Here is what is so sad about our government; it is so intertwined with Big Tabacco, Big Alcohol, Big Phameceutical, Big Oil, Big Insurance, etc., that it will NEVER be udone. My point is, elections no longer matter. Politicians have never by definition, had a great reputation. But the fact remains American politicians have completely and uttery screwed this country. The lesson learned is, never let money be freedom of speech and never allow for career politicians.

  • My ego is a gimmick. As many callers (some comment here on YouTube) can testify to, I am very courteous of their position, regardless of our disagreements. I always give them more than enough time, sometimes two entire segments, in order to fully explain their position or criticize mine. And I do not interrupt. Furthermore, I end by thanking them and then refusing to criticize them once they hand up. They aren't there to defend their position, so I don't opine.

  • You forgot Byron Dorgan's book..."Take This Job & Ship It"...

I hate to say it, but you are starting at little like Ed Schultz.

  • Ed Schultz??? Why not George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Taft, the America First conservatives, Pat Buchanan, or Lou Dobbs? Why that guy??? Boooo! :)

  • I had to. You are more like your abovementioned heroes. Actually, I have noticed this rise in populism as of late. Every campaign session, we have these candidates that want to sell their message to the poor. John Edwards and Mike Huckabee have been the big ones on either side. Huckabee strikes me as the conservative populist candidate. He will have to use his welfare-state credentials to win and distance himself from his pro-immigration stance.

  • I really want a better understanding of politics. Not long ago I equated nationalism with jingoism, and didn't think much of it. (Wikipedia has a good section on it.) I've spent a lot of time trying to find out what the difference between communism socialism and nazi-ism was, but I think that populism is a concept I have an even more tenuous grasp of. Where did you learn about it from the most? And would you be willing to discuss it with me?

  • Welcome to a larger world :) Nationalism itself (IMHO) is not inherently bad, some of the greatest and most honorable men in history, such as Lincoln, Ataturk and Churchill were nationalists.

I recommend watching the video "the money masters" on google video before getting into politics, make sure you understand how money works first.

  • Thanks for that information. I've now watched 8 YouTube videos that mention it or contain parts from it, and have noted down the name of the man on screen narrating the story, and the major historians and authors he cites, and have looked them up on Wikipedia, and have a list of their books, and the books and authors that they wrote against.

  • Go Populism.

  • Infinite love is the only truth, everything else is ilusion

  • Yay populism!

  • "Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor safety"-Benjamin Franklin.

This applys to social and economic issues. I am fully convinced if big buisness was out of bed with big government and we had more freedom in every aspect of our lives, our people would be thriving. Scaring the American people into economic liberalism isnt the way to go.

  • I am sorry if I misunderstood you, but do you think I am scaring people into economic liberalism?

  • Of corse not, I'm talking about the politicians running on populist ideals like John Edwards. Sorry if my comment seemed directed to you. There is a fine line between conservatism and fascism. You see allot of people loosing their faith in freedom. I apologize for being unclear.

  • I wasn't offended. Just wanted to make sure I knew what you were talking about.

  • I thought you were a Free Trader...

  • Idealistically, yes. But I think it is dangerous when our leaders place American workers at an unfair disadvantage that is completely outside of their control. This disadvantage results from regulations, fixed wage laws, etc. Until the government repeals these factors, we will continue to see the deck stacked against us.

  • I was once a Free Trader...but that changed

  • It should be pointed out that with the weak dollar American exporters are doing well. November's exports at $205.4 billion were at record levels. That's a lot of jobs at stake if a trade war broke out.
