  • Oh dear!

  • I hope they cleaned up...

  • Shoulda bought a Bibler tent.

  • As already mentioned by others, terrible equipment and clothing for the weather. Also, finding a place to pitch where you are sheltered from the wind is always a good idea.... Having said that... Amusing!

  • Dont ever erect an English tent in Snowdonia. You're lucky the wind took it.

  • @ColonelTroutman100 Ha very good. To be honest I thought tents like that were banned even here in England ;)

  • Those are beach tents or am I getting old and losing sight?

  • I bet cleaning that up SUCKED

  • EXTREME camping? Pah! You got off lightly there. I used to live in a caravan on the next farm along which got blown into the stream just behind it, in the night while I slept!! But the south Walian who thinx you only got caught in a light breeze obviously doesn't know the name of the valley where you were ~ 'Dyffryn Mymbyr', which is known for it's East/West winds howling down the valley.

  • @smokey0363 LUXURY! Of course, we had it tough. We used to live in shoebox in middle of t'road!

  • OK, note to self... set your tents up where there is a WIND BREAK, secure them with stakes in the ground... ground screws are ideal. TIE SHIT DOWN! and for God sakes, less beer and MORE COMMON SENSE!

  • just looks like one of my typical weekends out in yorkshire if you ask me hahaha i dare thee to do that in winter ;)

  • please pick up you trash

  • This is why do you dont buy crappy tents

  • thats the reason why not to buy shitty eurohike tents

  • I recon hollywood were behind this with there wind motors as our welsh wind are far more stronger than this - your all still standing. Try this spot for next season "crib goch" - flat as a pan cake, easy to get to and there a hotel if you look for it with all the mod cons. You can even hire a hang glider for the real thing tingle just aim it for Australia! takes about an hour on a good cymru wind!

  • That campsite looks almost as much a shambles as if Chuck Norris himself went on a rampage through it. Take actual tents and clothes rather than beer and hoodies is my advice ha ha.

  • Total bomb site ha ha, take note the wild campers code lol

  • Total bomb site ha ha

  • 1:17 the tent just walked away :P but why would you have setup tents while there is a storm on the way? i prefer to sleep in those white houses :P

  • Wow, and I thought the rainy Bank Holiday weekend in 2010 was bad. I hope you all recovered well enough to keep on camping, with perhaps better equipment next time! Take care.

    Frank

  • another great British summer

  • awesome! carry on camping!

  • lmfao at 1:20 hahahahaa fly mufuu flyyy lol

  • fake.

  • aww. what a mess! I hope you had good care of it after that !!!!

  • If there are kids in your group or houses next to your camp site, then there is nothing extreme about it...

  • its simple you went to the wrong place!

  • you get what you pay for a large cheap kite

  • This is why you always go for a solid 4 season tent. Any higher-end 4 season tent would laugh at these winds.

  • The point I'm trying to make is you don't necessarily need or even want to buy the best or most expensive tent, you want to buy the tent that fits it's use.

If it's a drunken rampage in the country or festival I'm inclined to go for the cheap tent, (parking your car not too far away less it gets destroyed by the weather or your 'friends')

    :o)

  • OK, I was one of the drunken youngsters. Yup all/most of the tents are cheap, Halfords/Argos. I helped put a couple of them up, some we see standing others not. Biggest factor in determining which are standing and which are seen floating away into the sky is position in releation to the farmers wall and the direction of wind.

Sure more expensive tents would fare alot better in the conditions. However, it's unclear how well such tents would hold up against drunken frenzied attacks by morons. :o)

  • @drekcarter great fun

  • judgeing by the bottles and the footware held up by the guy these tents were put up by youngsters, drunks or both. notice one of the cheepest tents there is still standing which gives new meaning to putting up your tent correctly. i have had worse when i let other put up the tent its just an adventure lol

  • 1:10 , Lift off ! :D

  • Next time somebody at work asks me why our tents are 10 times the price of others they've seen, I'm showing them this.

  • that sucks with all that wind, we got enough trees in ontario to block that shit

  • Did you get fined for littering what a mess

  • thats a lesson learned, shouldn't drink in storms and use cheap tents! lol

  • Vango force 10 is your friend

  • Dam right, Stuart. This happened overnight on a site i was at in the Lakes last year, except I was in a F10 Vortex. First indication I had that the weather had turned was when I arose from my undisturbed sleep to see every other shelter on the site flattened. Part of me was quite smug.

  • so much for your booze up and barbie lol

  • its ok buying a cheap tent just sey them up properly and face them into the wind it saves the side from breaking

  • LMAO.......I hate wind.

  • What a bunch of wankers.

  • Cheap tents, dozens of empty beer bottles and clearly the wrong clothing; hope you have learnt mountains are not to be taken lightly. I climb in Scotland regularly and you really need to look after yourselves much better, as the weather can be easily under-estimated!

  • @SMOGGYLAND Sorry funny, but yes Cheap tents wrong clothing.

  • @SMOGGYLAND So funny, lol But like you said Cheap tents and the wrong clothing

  • I hope you tidied up....and if you go to the mountains in future...take correct gear.

A £9.99 argos tent will not save you in Snowdonia..LOL!

  • I'll never buy a cheap tent again!

  • lol that was awesome, lucky you got ur tent back and ur stuff

i also think when the tent flies away is pretty good too - cool guy

  • Cool, it's a good place. Yes, right next to Llanberis :)

  • where abouts is that? because i think it might be the place i went the other day.

    is it next to lanberis?

  • i was camping in snowdonia the other day,im gonna go again next week.

    5 stars

  • LOL everyone was clinging on to their stuff and trying to save whatever they could while you were busy filming them

    tut tut

    u evil boy Warwick

  • Lol, for the last time, I did plenty of helping! I only filmed for about 2 minutes of the hour-long ordeal. The rest I was helping =D

And, urr, is it Kenny? ...

  • Notice how warwick uses nondescript phrases such as "did save some stuff" and "plenty of helping!" Ahh but in all fairness there's only so much you can do when you've got your hands full with a camera.

    Teeheehee!

  • Yey, you guessed right!

  • Hee hee, everyone is trying to help, then you, the lazy guy, is just standing folming them.

Looks like a nice holiday by the way!

Oh, and try to guess who this is? =P

  • lol that is amazing :P

i like the epic moment when the tent flies at you, its movie material mate, movie material

its reaperx by the way :D

  • Lol, that was funny! It attacked me...

  • LOL who's the guy at the ending

  • Gawsh Warwick, everyone is helping out, saving stuff

AND HERES WARWICK ON THE CAMERA! xD!

  • WARWICK PWNS :D

    Who said that :aware:

  • haha wounded!
