Total Fail. I'm sorry but it is. Your eyes didn't even get bigger, I feel like you just did a rush job on a look that you would have never thought to do on your own if people had not requested it. This looks more like something a woman on the corner would wear, not a gyaru.
I think it's kinda funny how all these rude comments are most likely from WHITE people that attempt gyaru make-up and fail at the entire thing completely. And not all gyaru girls wear the make-up the exact same way, but moronic 'gaijin gyarus' wouldn't clearly wouldn't know that. ;)
And honestly, I've seen make-up exactly like this on a lot of REAL gyaru girls.
Kay this was a good attempt but it was not even remotely close to what gyaru looks like. It looks pretty, and you wear makeup well. But it's not gyaru. It takes a lot of practice to get it right. It can be difficult.
the eyes are perfect :D so many asians do their eye makeup like that!!! although gyaru looks do have the hair styled like gyaru, light (usually) colored skin, etc., i think the eyes and light lipstick are part of the gyaru look :/ she just didn't go all out into a full transformation, and i think thats why people are hating on this. I personally really like the eyes here ^_^
@pinkylaurajane122 And you know what Gyaru really looks like? There are different ways to do it. Not everyone follows what Tsubasa does or what Kumiko/Kumiki does. Everyone does it DIFFERENTLY. Who cares? I like this look because it's extremely simple and easy to do.

If you just fake a slightly higher crease, highlight below the tear-ducts, the center of the lids (keep it natural) and use a chocolate brown eyeshadow to line ur eyes thinly, but still make the end rounded a bit, halfway line ur lower lash line with the same color and liner ur lower water line with white, ur good to go with eyes that look twice as big...I'll make a vid, this really works

I'm a huge fan of all of your tutorials, and your makeup is always beautiful! But, this definitely is NOT Gyaru. This would maybe make a cute Asian eye look, but nottttt Gyaru. Actually, it's funny, I'm seeing comments about the lipstick being bad.. I think the lipstick is the only thing about this tutorial that hit Gyaru on the spot. I think maybe you were trying to go for a more hime gyaru instead of the ones that look more crazy. If you're going for hime then you definitely to princess it up.
