In the description box is a link to a blog entry I made in relation to how I made the dress with a few rough drawings. I will keep in mind to make a tutorial on this.

Seriously... most guys I know will secretly admit they hate it when their girl wears that shit. They'll just never admit it to a girl, especially their girl! They'd never hear the end of it. Guys need to start rising up against this.
Well if you think of it well.... she makes the base, that is the body... so 2 big rectangles (or square) or so and another 2 slimmer rectangles for the sleeves, put in the ribbon on the neckline and the elastic wherever you want it to go.... I don't know.... I hope this might help :S I'm not really sure.
Oh! I forgot to add one more little thing that also helped me. Go watch her other video on how to make a babydoll tube dress. You can incorporate some of the instructions that she gives in those videos into this dress such as how to cut and measure the fabric, and also how to insert elastic onto the dress ^__^
I'm not sure if this is going to help clear up confusion, but if you go to Himehood's blogspot and go to the March blog entries, she'll give a very brief and rough explanation on how she created the dress through a diagram that she drew herself. Then there are also snapshots taken of the diagrams that are in the book, too! It helped me understand what she was doing much better :)
