  • Gerardoawd: No thanks for your foul letter, I am not into cars enough to disrespect others, you send this email to my mailbox full of cursing about a Subaru, like you own the company? What is wrong with you? You must really not have much of a life to attact something I said online about a piece of steel. Please dont write me again I don't deal with your kind. So many are brave online with the words, I get sex Gerard, this is not my outlet.

  • those scoops are functional!the move air through the intercooler which is on the top of the engine. The air going into the air filter is brought in through a intake through the grille.

  • Scoops...... don't make me laugh.

  • Who da hell is talking about hood scoops here? This is not even the GT version, it's just the 3.0R u dumbasses.

Hey foucle, what do you drive? let me guess, a Chevrolet pick up truck with your gardener shyt on it right? Yeah yeah, your chrome wheels, your cd hanging on the view mirror, your stupid carpet on the dashboard .... please, do us a favor, stay away from Subaru, is wayyy too much of a car for a douchebag like yourself. ....stealing Chrysler ideas ..... yeah right.

  • it needs a hood scoop like the ones in 90's and the turbocharged ones have, looks way better and is a easy way to boost performance and airflow.

  • RE: Scoops are just for looks. They do nothing for performance.

Actually Subaru's hood scoops ARE for performance. They are indeed fully functionally and actually help the turbo. But you're right in that most other cars use scoops just for looks.

  • the scoops are mostly for looks. you dont need a snorkel that huge to feed air to the intercooler, but they are still functional.

  • "Looks" huh? another cheap Civic driver, You are so stupid and ignorant that don't even know the difference between a fkn snorkel and a hood scoop ..... yeah, keep that "scoop for look" concept, til an STi passes you like a dead post.

  • I actually drive a volvo 244. and i know what the difference between the two, just being facetious about the purpose of thing.

it is as functional as the effing wing and the vortex generators. only at speeds of about 100 mph. so yeah, you are buying design and looks as much or more as any actual performance you posing little internet bench racer.

  • Dude, if u dun know what are u talking about , please keep your mouth shut. Subarus are made AND designed in Japan F.Y.I

  • I have to agree with you!

  • My Subaru was made in Indiana, USA

  • Many Subaru cars sold in America are made in America.....

  • Which is evident in the build quality.

  • Sorry I take it back, just realized that Outbacks and Tribecas are only 40% japanese. So sad.

  • The Subaru Outback is assembled in Lafayette Indiana, USA with 60% of the Parts manufactured @ various Plants around the USA & shipped to the Subaru Plant for assembly.

The Drivetrain is manufactured in Japan and shipped to Indiana.

  • It's not american desigeners!

  • oh my god american desigenrs r fucking fags and fucked

justt look at the front end , the hood, i could do better

  • The cars are designed and engineered in Japan the main company is called "Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. of Japan" and Subaru means "unite" in Japanese.
