@nipperisboss You're pretty wrong to be honest. The song has nothing to do with the Liverpool team, but when the band recorded this, they wanted a chant at the end of the song to take place. It just so happened that at the time, not only were Liverpool's fans the loudest, but the theme and lyrics of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' just happened to fit in well with the lyrics of 'Fearless'. Fearless itself has nothing to do with Liverpool FC.

@TheMcillist It was in a book called 'Pink Floyd: Through the eyes of...' which first of all chronicles a lot of the history of the band through various magazine and newspaper article snippets, and then the end of the book has a fantastic section which details the meaning (sometimes possible, sometimes definite) behind every song and why the songs were made the way they were. A great read, well worth getting, though could be hard to find! Can find it on Amazon I think.
