The 90s weren't the best musical era by no means but rock, rap and hip hop were still much better than the 2000s. Music and art are simply degenerating. Grunge was a fresh sound that took punk and, in my opinion, improved the melody, and Nirvana was its master. Unplugged in New York took them to another level. Nirvana is not top 10 bands in my book simply because I think a lot of others wrote better lyrics. But in the 90s I went nuts singing their songs.
