@VanDiemen2 That's great lol. Since the coming of self service areas in supermarkets, scanning the items through, I've wanted to be the computer voice saying "Thank you for shopping here, now take your items and bugger off."
It is six minutes, I have had hours of college lectures wher the speaker never moved their lips. Some are better speakers than others, this ine isn't great or bad. Good overview content. Good job.
@SnowyOwl2000 Sorry if I hurt your feelings, and sorry if I'm too direct but I really think you should never narrate. But tell me, what's wrong to be French Canadian? Are you racist? By the way I'm not French Canadian. The Plantagenets where french if you have forgotten. As you suggested it I found the Stop button and I pressed it very quickly. Don't get me wrong, I love history and I really wanted to learn more about the Plantagenets but your anoying voice prevent me from learning more...
Thus, in two generations the Scandinavian element is diluted in the vast French genetics. Vikings there remained the name of Norman. The Normans were now in the blood by french language and culture. Succeeded the Norman house another French dynasty, that of Plantegenets of the House of Anjou. So until the 14 th century french language became official language England
Either you're ignorant or you are in bad faith because you're ashamed that the Normans are french! Look on a map and you will see that the Normandy is in France. While some of their ancestors were pirates Vikings who had settled in France but their numbers were tiny compared to the local population, the Vikings also got married to local women and their children are also married to locals and so on!
@espoire1757 I'm not sure where you're getting the impression that I have any judgement on Normandy. None of my slide shows have any racist views. Royal Houses come and they go. My focus is on England, and with a limited length for each it isn't possible to go into so such depth.
@JanaSklibova I'm sure if you look around you will find another similar, or try reading books. The breath as you call it is due to the mic. being part of a headset.
i want to learn about this but i'm typing this comment only 40 seconds into the presentation as the narrators voice is driving me insane!!!! Sort it out for God sake!!!
I agree a very interesting piece of history there but maybe if the narrator was a bit more upbeat about it and took the time to breathe I would have remembered what I had just learned but good info anyway!
@gipcambero - I hate to break this to you but Richard I was born at Beaumont Palace, Oxford, and the Angevin Curse of Henry II in the 1160's which turned any French influences to the plantagenet a complete nonsence, as the rivalries and feuds between the family's were immense.
So the Plantagents were superficious at very best.
who is this narrator, it is monotonal but with a two-pitched presentation which is hurriedly spoken with no pause for the viewer to collect the sentiments of the words, its still intresting as in it is done as history in a nutshell but wouldve been better had it been presented in a less hurried fashion
LOL I think though that it would be better if you got someone with a more engaging enthusiastic way of speaking to narrate it. You sound a little bored, sorry I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but I got bored watching it because there was no interest in the voice of the narrator.
Terrible audio. Very unclear and off putting.

who talks like that!! I wouldve appreciated this more if the narrator's voice was more attractive to the ear.

@TheBig6536 I talk like that. I take this comment as having racist undertones. You should be ashamed of yourself.
