@starryparadise I don't know if MJ loved to hear Heavy metal, but Jennifer Batten once told that Michael loved Led Zeppelin, and according to one of his recording producer, Michael really loved Nine Inch Nails' album Downward Spiral. In fact the song "Morphine" was inspired by NIN. lol sorry if this is not the kind of info that you're looking for :)

Yes, I do not now if Michael would have replied Not to trust anybody ! if he thought this would be heard by his fans. @AngelViolet22 Mike would've definitely sugarcoated it if interviewed 'cause he's nice like that. MJ was on a Vogue cover in 2007. In an interview he said artists need to be more original- something like that. MJ tends to be really positive in his interviews (he doesn't like badmouthing or insulting others) so I'd think his opinion of the music industry was lower than he showed. Who am I to talk for MJ though. He did like Gaga since she was going to be on the opening act of one of his TII shows.

@NightJay24 Yeah, I agree. He would have just given a one liner not really saying much - but then if you know MJ, you know it means he's not impressed. I'm glad he liked GaGa, she is about the only original artist with talent we have today. And I like Orianthi - she was his guitarist for "This is It" . Her music is really good.

@AngelViolet22 And I just read this article about Ne-Yo and MJ's collaborations. Main topic was how Ne-Yo should present the songs he wrote for MJ. There is all a good quote:
"Ne-Yo went on to reveal that when he met with Jackson, they discussed the state of music. Ne-Yo says of Jackson: 'He believed what was wrong with a lot of music today is that people aren't singing about anything. If it's not about a party or sex then it's about money, and there's not really much to that.'"
