@90tlcaaliyah That's because she wasn't Hispanic. She was of Cape Verdean Descent...and since the Portuguese colonized in Cape Verde, some people of that descent are lighter while others a darker. I don't get where people come off thinking that she was hispanic.

@ChampCarforlife no that is TOTALLY false! Lisa was of Cape Verdean descent, and lets "hypothetically' say her mother was "Mexican", Lisa STILL considered herself to be a black woman NOT latina! In all her interviews she referred to herself as a black woman or African American woman. She has never identified herself as being latina so therefore comparisons between her and the other ppl u mentioned are INVALID!
