Joni's voice is as beautiful as ever... but she just doesn't bring much emotion to this song. It's not unpleasant by any means, but Kitty Kallen managed to wring out every ounce of sadness in it. Joni 's good... but Kitty shines on this tune.
I have always loved this song and Joni does a great job on it. I have her double CD and I just love listening to her beautiful voice. I also listened to her songs on WIP in Philly and also WPEN, those were great days for great singers and music.

I think Joni has a great voice,but Kitty kalen's version is more haunting.
