That is a neat looking heel block at 3:33, is there a name for that kind of block? I was curious how it connects to the neck with its unique shape, it looks like there are two holes at the top? Nice work!

It took me around 8 months. I'm a full time airline pilot so I just have the time on my days off. I get paid very little as this one is for a friend. And I'm just one guy. :)
I'm surprised you put the top on before the back: it's much harder to impossible to clean the glue joint on the inside that everyone can see when they peek in the soundhole...

I was surprised to see you/him using Titebond glue rather than hot hide glue.

@blipblip88 Titebond is THE glue. You wont find many luthiers that don't use it for at least some of the build.
