My 'first time' in DayTonnHamVenTION was in 1975 and I attended for 21 straight years. Last two trips were to a junky flea market propped up by ARRL. My campsite without water or electricity cost $160 for four days. 1400 mile drive round trip. NOT worth it anymore. Diana Eng is cute kiss kiss kiss. Peter, WB2SGT

@JTLfan96 My last trip introduced me to the 'blasted ghetto' of Springfield. I went to supermarket for supples passing a wagon on checkout...angry black lady ran after me for 'jumping' and mngr opened a lane for me. Pkd my car legally to pick up load of antenna masts...cops towed it to provide a local parking...cost me $65 ticket witheld. Years ago hammys were burden but appreciated for business.
