It's funny that they called Aileen the monster, yet she's small potatoes compared to what most male serial killers did.

Believe it or not there are some people who are actually insane. She wasn't mentally stable and should not have gotten the death penalty. She needed treatment, not death.

What about Gary Ridgway, the green river killer. Because he confessed (even though they had evidence against him) they spared him the death penalty. He confessed to killing 48 women!
