Management vs Cure for Bipolar Disorder

FALSE! Bi-polar disorder can be Cured! Not with medication and not genetics or not even western medicine for that matter. It is not a physical ailment it is an emotional one. If you heal the original emotional pain you can cure bi-polar, ptsd and many many other problems!

I think of Bipolar as a roller-coaster when drunk, if your on medication. Cause if you are you kinda stopping your self from the melancholia and the hyperactivities that you could experience on this ride. I am not for medication, it has left me feeling far worse at times exacerbating the feelings and coming off them, didn't seem to make a difference in that feeling you get when your on them. I say management has to be it too but this is hard to hear when your down. It's not fun to be this way.

So... What was the drug you found that worked? I wish she would lay it on the line and tell us what she used, then what worked. I think everyone understands that it can only be managed, but maybe she used a combination that we may not have tried. Right now I'm on Seroquel XR and Lithium -- I'm playing a waiting game until the medications kick-in.

Other than leaving out what she was using, I like this video series.
