  • the box is a Vintage Universal Films Canister google it.

  • is that gold on the left that looks like a tiny gold rock at 9:01 ?

  • The markings the tree may make it a treasure tree check it out ,good luck

  • @stelthy100 well actually them markings were treasure symbols, not many people notice that though, i have been followering KGC clues at that site.

  • so what do you do with your gold and what would you do if you found your mine?

  • @Kalkas53 I put all my gold i find in a jar, and i keep it for 30 yrs , lol, i never expect to sell it. if i found the mine i would detect around for lost items and maybe pan for gold but around here the old timers found it all , so the further you get away from a gold mine the more gold .. they dug here from 1799 to 1930's.. ive slucied and panned one of the largest gold mining operations in my area and i didnt find one spec of gold..

  • I think that horseshoe is from George Washington's horse, when he fought a Valley Forge. Looks like the size Nelson wore.

  • @pacificcoast it's not, lol , i find lots of old blacksmith made horse shoes though, i'm no where near valley forge..

  • @pacificcoast how did you make that connection?

cause there's no gold in PA

  • @Kalkas53 I was just joking around

  • ...Unless my nerdyness failed me, I belive the hinged can you found was an old film cannister. UA might be United Artists which was founded in 1919. Odd place to find a film can though. Wonder who may have lived in the area at the time. Good stuff...I'd love to get into metal detecting. I live in Auburn Washington and there are a TON of mine sites in the area. I do a bit of fossil hunting and such. Good stuff, keep putting it out there...

  • @phofgaard your nerdyness is correct ,lo, i asked grandpa when i got home and he knew what it was. old film box.

  • Thats more gold than I found today. I spent 5 hours in the heat sluicing and found jack squat.. Congrats on your gold! HP!

  • @jmwnycprr i actually found more than that but my camera wasnt uploading the pictures on the computer so i didnt show them, i got like 14 specs of gold.

  • @jmwnycprr well thats why your called jacksquat digger, you never find anything, LOL. good luck, look under roots, bedrock cracks, on the down stream side of a big rock thats in the middle of creeks.

  • @nuggetnoggin alright cool... haha but how much gold do you think you have

  • Cool... Congrats on the gold.

  • Looks like you had a fun day with your dad. Thanks for the vid. HH Mikey

  • Another great video! Some cool finds there. You find a lot of harmonica reeds. Looked very fun!

  • @themetaldetectorguy we sure do find alot of them, there common finds for like anysite 1900 and older

  • Awesome video nugget! we have a placer mine about an hour and a half drive from here haven't checked it out yet it's a placer mine they used to work it a hundred years ago during winter time. mostly flour gold but still want to go check it out :)

  • great video thanks!

  • ya know the gold in your youtube channel background, what video did that come from did i miss this video?

  • @treasurepirate1 theres no video for that i dont think, i found it in the creek behind my house, after slucing, i never did record. but i do have another gold video coming up, i didnt find that much gold but i found a little.

  • great hunt. all those specs of gold will add so keep at it. i think that large UA item looks more like a movie reel container. i've seen some that look like it anyways. keep up the good work. hh

  • @INFIDELxSTRONG yes thats what it is, old film case, i just thought of a ammo box first i looked at it, but it's not. wonder how it got outthere, maybe a old video was recorded on the property

  • Nice hunt! Congrats on the gold and especially the crystal! And does your dad have a job? How does he get the tme to go metal detcting with you? Pretty awesome. HH!

  • @FreeRSAccountsWeekly My dad works 5 days a week, 6am to 5:30pm, and yes we still have time to go metal detecting on saturday for 5 hours or so.

  • I turned off youtube automatic captions so that is all that was...:)

  • @granskare oh you had your captions on

  • @nuggetnoggin I think youtube itself turned them on :) but they were not quite correct, not by a long shot :)

  • Cool. Hope you find some bigger gold nuggets when you go back with the sluice box. Awesome video!

  • it is funny that the youtube captions are so weird...:)

  • Get to tha Choppa!!!!! XD Great Hunt Nugget lol

  • That big object is a movie film canister. UA is United Artist.

  • @bowdenet yep i figured that out when i got home and showed the video to grandpa. i never did put captions in the move about it. thanks for reminding me though. oh UA states for united artist, didnt know that part, grandpa just said the shape of it is used for old Film.

  • You know? This is the first time I've ener talked with you. He He. iIlive in Hagerstown MD. Theres a place near where I work that is being tore up for the building of a Wall Mart. Do you think it will be ok to detect there? Or do you think it's not allowed?

  • I LOVE videos like this. Its more like an adventure,...just not about holes in the ground. Congrats.

  • We'll be looking forward to #2.

  • Hey, Michel, How does your camera pick-up sound from so far away.

  • @MYGOLDCOIN101 i dont know lol, i have a microphone feature on it that i keep turned on, i could be 70 ft away and the camera could still hear me.

  • Congrats man, I know that gold is your passion. Hope you find more.

  • Another awesome video! The swamp at the first of the video looked like Mosquito Heaven. Did ya see any snakes that day?

  • @MrKevinbrian no snakes lol, but i did see a snake skin.

  • @1:12 That sewer construction is at least 30's .... or as recent as 50's. Tires at 2:27 also indicate post WW2, as almost everything was recycled for the war effort. Was the mine functioning that late, or was modern site built near old mine?

  • Awesome video and hunt ! Congrats on finding the yellow and good luck on your next hunt !

  • how much gold do you have now man..? enough to be worth anything?

  • @Dallascb1996 Well gold is worth money, but i need to get a digital scale to weigh it, i have less than one ounce of gold. i went back to that site and we found the gold mine, thats why theres going to be a part 2 of this blair witch project.

  • sweet man

  • it's a better quality version of the blair witch project...lol
