@crazysj95z28 I would say the exact same thing. The ZR1 is nice, would have been nicer with a turbo or an NA LS7 that spun to 9000 rpm. The Ford GT is nice, but it's hobbled by a small 5.4L. So of course it has to be s/c. They didn't want to spend money on a turbo or high-RPM upgrades, so s/c was the easy way out. Good for them, but costly for us that don't like throwing money at BP and Exxon.

I have a 03 Cobra and a 03 L, nothing wrong with a friendly race. Also if you wanted to beat a pulley, CAI, tune, exhaust and so on Terminator, your L better have a built short block, whipple and maybe heads and cams to make up for that weight difference.

Since the cobra's RPM's were high at take off the Lightning had to have taken off at a lower gear(2) then when red lineing shift up to drive! That's what I did on the highway with a modded 01' mustang and It worked very well. The driver plays a major role in a race!

The advantage that the cobra had on this vid was the (by seeing the engine) CAI, Blower pullies, and it appeared to have an aftermarket TB, and I'm assuming it had an aftermarket clutch due to the great take-off it had, where as the lightning might have been stock. DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE MODS ON THE LIGHTNING? I have an 04' Lightning and have been neck to neck with stock cobra.
