  • Do you know if the c02 runs out if not in use????

  • @6kidkrazy It may if not used for extended periods of time.

  • Comment removed

  • It was cheap, its just my last Crossman Co2 revolver was purchased almost 30 years ago, was all metal, and it’s accuracy was phenomenal. I’ve been shooting a lot with the grand kids lately and wanted them to try a full size revolver.

  • @frankl1955 If you want to try a nice air revolver, look at the Smith & Wesson line. They're about twice the price if not more, but I'd hope for the price the quality is 10x better at least.

  • The Crossman 357 is the worse quality I’ve seen in awhile. It was cheap and it is cheap. Barrel started falling out on second use. Consistent 5 inch shot group at 7 meters, I could do better with a sling shot. Maybe I just got a bad one, or just got spoiled with my Diana LP8

  • @frankl1955 It could be any number of reasons. I feel like quality control is just going down the tubes nowadays.

  • wait i have the same crossman revolver, but my gun does not have a rail?

  • @scgangster831 It's a very small dovetail rail at the top.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics oh okay i was confused for a little. you should do a review on the daisy power line pretty good gun.

  • @scgangster831 It's a ashame because I have a mid-90s Daisy Powerline Rifle, but it is currently non-operation...such a fun gun would've been great for a review.

  • y do ya need oil?

  • @school640 It keeps the internal components lubricated so they last longer and function and perform better.

  • LOL how did you break your ping pong table.

  • @DinoOnCrack I kicked it when I was bored once lol.

  • Comment removed

  • How much of its metal?

  • @emilyspook123 Half of the frame is, the actual barrel, and the hamer and trigger as well as most internal components.

  • was it cheaper than 100 bucks cuz i saw one for $99.99 at a military store by my place

  • @biggonshas2pick I can't remember. Without the airsource adapter it costs around $100.

  • Comment removed

  • @biggonshas2pick

got mine at $50 at academy sports

  • @biggonshas2pick the 357 is only like 45 to 60 at pyramydair com.....

  • @biggonshas2pick you can get it at amazon.com for $41

  • @biggonshas2pick At academy, sports authority and other such stores they sell them for around 50-60 bucks, the one at you local military store is a ripoff. =)

  • is it epic?

  • @coolchesse6011 It is very epic.

  • Is it heavy?

  • @CommanderFuzzy1 It is modertately heavy.

  • @CommanderFuzzy1 its 2 pounds

  • is it metal?

  • @223rockmaster The internals are metal, most of the exterior is plastic, and it only shoots pellets.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics oh.thats slightley disapointinf.thank you though, by the way is it hard plastic(good quality)

  • @223rockmaster Yes, it is.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics thats kinda disapointing, thanks though. well..is it good quality plastic

  • wait it shoots just bb's too right. just want to make sure

  • can it kill a rabbit

  • @pleasedbard Eh that's hard to say, possibly with a well placed shot.

  • @MrAirguns4life lol i get wat ur doing

  • @MrAirguns4life Apppreciate it.

  • @MrAirguns4life dude look it up on google stop buging this guy lol

  • @MrAirguns4life Probably the C11, it holds more and reloads easier and the gas will last longer.

  • where would you say the cheapest place to buy the small C02 tanks is

  • @TheWeeklyRepository Online would probably be the best option. If not , try Walmart.

  • @MrAirguns4life I would imagine both would be fairly equal.

  • @MrAirguns4life Hmmm, that's a tough one. I suggest getting the lightest high velocity pellets you can find, put in a brand new tank, and get a chronograph to measure the velocity. Perhaps you can adjust the valve to allow for a higher pressure as well?

  • is everything made of metal?

  • @XxSamDaMuffinManxX No, some parts are made of polyethylene or some sort of heavy plastic.

  • do you use pellets or bbs

  • @DannyFatSack Pellets.

  • will high velocity pellets increase the velocity of a co2 pistol

  • @XxIxAMxKARMAxX If there lighter, then yes.

  • @XxIxAMxKARMAxX Yes, but they will also decrease the accuracy. They would be fine with this gun, because it's only about 400 FPS, but with 800+ FPS guns, I would not recommend it.

  • @tropixsongs ok thanx

  • @XxIxAMxKARMAxX No problem.

  • i'v had a lot of these over the years, on of the best pellet guns ever!

  • I have a ten shot but I have like another trigger behind the main trigger. I watched ur video again an u don't show it, what is it for ty.

  • @raymondsweyrauch I'm not exactly sure what it is for, it's called a sear according to the parts diagram, but I assume it has to do with moving the small bar away from the valve when the hammer comes down so it will strike the valve.

  • @raymondsweyrauch its double action

  • Thax for the demo.

  • @raymondsweyrauch No problem.

  • i got this gun, its pretty good but my grips are abit loose

  • @Kidsgonewild666 Yeah I know, but I just learned to deal with it.

  • WHERE CAN I BUY PELLGUN OIL???? please help! i dont want to have to buy it online...

  • @ROCKxNEVERxDIES I wish I could tell you. Maybe try Dick's or another sporting goods store. Perhaps a local gun shop might even have it. Your best bet is to find out what type of oil it is and just buy something genaric.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics i would go to airgundepot

  • @ROCKxNEVERxDIES walmart/kmart

  • What brand of pellet gun oil do you use?

  • @LVblaze Crosman.

  • @imapimpyournot It's hard to say, I mean it is loud but you'd have to try it first hand to make that decision.

  • Is it ok if you are 16 years old and own this gun/BB gun?

  • @TheRedSickle In most places it should be perefectly legal to possess one at 16 years of age or older.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics Ok, thanks man! Just one more thing before i like this video and subscribe:

Since we are at the ages, i'm i able to operate an Crosman 1760 then? I mean, that sniper might deal more damage to people, so isnt it illegal, lets say, in UK or Scandinavia or other western European countrys?

  • @TheRedSickle Unfortunately I'm not sure about any Eauropean laws, as I do live in the US, but either way an airgun is an airgun so the age to use one should be the same for am airgun that deals little damage or one that can move a pellet at over 1000 fps.

  • @BloodDiamond32 Yes, if used accurately.

  • Great gun. own one myself.

  • it the sights plastic

  • @matsubara101 Yes.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics thnx man :]

  • where did you buy it??

  • @fredtbobkoeje24 Crosman.com

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics Can you buy this in canada? :)

  • @nightfurylord You should be able to, I can't see why not.

  • how do i clean the barrel should i put some drops of the pellgunoil i n the barrel or what or just on the co2 cartdridge??

  • @warpk1 You should put the pellgun oil on the tip of every CO2 cartridge you use, as for cleaning the barrel use a light oil such as any gun oil or 3 in 1 oil.

  • You will be fined for 10,000 euro or go to jail for 9 months if you ever possess a airgun/pistol. Any dulpicate of real gun(toy gun) will also be prosecuted!!

  • @toyyou2jp - Where are you? These aren't illegal to own, but you get fined a little bit if you shoot them within city limits (50 euros) as long as it fires under 500fps. If its over 500 fps then you get a record and they take the gun and you are in shit, but not 10 000 euros or 9 months.

  • @doomsd46 I am talking about the Netherlands. I miss to type "Holland" in my comment to cause misunderstanding, sorry! In Holland you'll be fined for 10,000 euros or go to jail for 9 months if you possess, import or buy an air gun/pistols. Any replicant of real gun for collection is absolutely forbidden and one will be prosecuted to maximum penalty.

  • @toyyou2jp Guaranteed the states aren't too far behind a liberalistic agenda like that.

  • just out of curiosity how/where do I find some reliable spare clips????

  • so, does the pistol holster work with the 357?

  • @vic485 Yes.

  • im just wondering can this kill small things around houses and is the barrel rifled?

  • @PADSCALE The answer is yes to both of those.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics thank god a pellet pistol that can kill something besides the weihrauch

  • @MrEzo141 Oh wow well that would probably be why. But I guess a $10 difference isn't too bad I've seen ripoffs on the interent for around $80.

  • @MrEzo141 In which state?

  • $40 REALLY

  • man this gun is ok but comparing it with my rifle with 610fps it sucks

  • @airsoftninja1231 why would you be a dumb ass and compare a fifty dolor pistol to a rifle stop being stupid

  • @airsoftninja1231 What rifle do you have?

  • @airsoftninja1231 compared to my .22 air rifle with 1250fps your rifle sucks

  • DAISY makes the best air pistols.

  • what do u think are the best pellets for this airgun

  • @superbudgrower RWS.

  • Do u kno any place else cuz budk.com doesn't ship to California

  • i got the twelve shot 357

  • @Kestral2670 Which company makes that?

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics crossman

  • @Kestral2670 I can't find it on their site. Was it discontinued?

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics i got it from canadian tire

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics try budk .com

  • What would your opinion be on me sawing it down into a snub nose?

  • @bohdan1997 It's a bit more complicated than that since the end of the barrel housing is designed to keep the barrel in place, not to mention the sight is at the end of the muzzle.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics Well the sight part i have figured out, it just requires a bit of dremil skill and some soldering, but the part about the end of the barrel housing keeping the barrel in place will prove a challenge, I'm not really going to attempt this until maybe next year when i gain some extra cash but if i attempt this project i'll post it as a reply to this vid. Kudos!

  • @bohdan1997 Good luck!

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics if i put a red dot on this could i hunt small game? like birds, squirrels?

  • @Psycho12345123 I don't see why not, but the cheaper red dots are usually inaccurate.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics it'd be like a walther one for 25$

  • @Psycho12345123 Then it should be a decent one.

  • @Psycho12345123 yeah for sure, this with the predator polymag pellets is a deadly combo

  • Where did you get it from?

  • @AvgFilms1941 I oredered in online directly from Crosman.com.

  • my crossman357 is painted gold camo

  • @sexxykelly Haha nice.

  • Hunting at 40-50 yards? Are you an idiot? This gun generates 3 ft lbs at the MUZZLE! At 40 yards it will just bounce off whatever you hit. Honestly if you want to do pest control with it, then it must be less than 10 yards...

  • @lambchops1493 It actually generates around 7lbs and I'm not saying it can instantly kill anything at 40-50 yards but it will stun/injure it and give you a chance to get closer for a fatal shot.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics Dude your seriously lacking in the brain department. There is no way in hell this can produce 7 ft/lbs at 435 FPS. A Normal Crosman pellet at around 7.9 grains shoots at 410 FPS on my Chronograph. That equals to 2.9 Ft/lbs. An even heavier pellet will shoot around 200-300 FPS delivering under 1 Ft/lb of energy. Even with the smallest grain pellets like gamo raptors which are 4.5 grains this produces 1.8 Ft/lbs. Prove to me how this can produce 7 ft lbs. Idiot.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics My Crosman 1377 rated at 600 FPS doesn't even produce 7 Ft/lbs. Seriously get your facts straight before you say stuff on the internet and look like an idiot. Like I said before, prove it to me how this produces 7 ft/lbs. A 7.9g pellet at 600 FPS only produces 6.3 Ft/lbs. And this gun only shoots 435 FPS with a 4.0g pellet. It's simple math bro. FPS squared x pellet grain / 450,800 (gravity constant). This equation gives you Foot pounds of energy.

  • @lambchops1493 Oops I apologize I did the airgun formula for my 1077, yes the gun produces about 3.5 ft lbs of muzzle energy. I also apologize for not filming the shot I took at that distance as my camera isnt readily accesible all the time. There's no need to get your panties in a bunch over something minuscule.

  • i own this gun as well i love it i got it for 40 bucks brand new off amazon.com

  • @HatesStupidPeople194 I did buy this gun back in August '08 or '09, so the prices may have changed.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics oh yeah they did dude on amazon it said they were originally like 80 but i got it from a good buyer on amazon for 40 which was sweet since it was brand new

  • where did you get this gun for 50$? cuz im getting one and it is 79.99 every where i look.

  • @unseen1107 go to amazon i got mine brand new for 40

  • @HatesStupidPeople194 wow i never go there accualy i forgot that was even a sight hahaha well thnx!!!

  • @unseen1107 haha your welcome man, i go there ALL the time and save so much money, remember there are independent sellers on that site as well that save you tons of money!

  • @HatesStupidPeople194 thnx man

  • in this gun if you use the gun in single action does the bullet go farther or faster than double action. or does it not matter.

  • @kirksajerk The only thing it affects is accuracy.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics which one is more accurate.

  • @kirksajerk Single action, because there is less trigger pull and less chance of the gun moving while pulling the trigger.

  • do u have to use the pellet gun oil

  • @liloutdoorsman No, but I reccomend it.

  • so this gun can shoot pellets and bbs.

  • @kirksajerk Technically yes.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics when shooting this gun do the bullets tend to arch when shooting at targets maybe 50 feet away or is it like a straight line there.

  • Comment removed

  • @kirksajerk Technically speaking, yes.

  • i had one of them but i sold it because i am stupid :/

  • @Kombokiller123 I thought about selling mine but I knew I'd regret it.

  • Can I use any silicone oil for this? Or only pellgun oil?

  • @IchigoKurosaki011 You don't have to use pellgun oil but you need to use the same compound. I'm not sure if pellgun oil is silicon based but if it is I'd imagine any silicon oil would work.

  • Comment removed

  • Can this gun be used as self defense, I walk around really bad neighbor hoods and protection is a must. I'm not yet able to afford a real gun but is this good in the mean time.

  • @MrAllegory I highly suggest against that for several reasons. One, this by no means will kill a human being unless a pellet is almost surgically placed, meaning you'll just piss off your attacker. Second, if an armed attacker comes up and sees you with a weapon it'll be like bringing a stick to a gun fight, and lastly depending on your state/county's laws even carrying an air weapon could still be considered a firearm. As far as using it in your own home by all means that is your choice.

  • Thanks for the review, hope to get one of these next month, looking for a cheap .177 c02 gun for some high speed photography and this seems in my price range. mainly for shooting weak-ish itmes such as light bulbs, cans (with liquid in), water bombs, chalk.. e.t.c. with pellets, BB's, Bolts and Darts. would you reccomend this one? , retails for about £70 ($110-ish). I may be willing to spend a bit more if there is a better one you got in mind? Thanks for reading

  • can you make a reassembly video I took my 1997 apart and replaced some seals and it's almost impossible to put it back together I got most of the peices in like the back hammer but it's hard to get it working back as the original

  • @BlazyNonVevo I have never disassembled my pistol but if you check out crosman.com you should be able to find an exploded view/schematic that should help.

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics I did look it up and it doesn't really help because you can't tell where the springs go

the diagram is 2d you need 3d but I found pictures online of the key points to installing it.

Thanks though but please make a video for more people like me I love crosman but when it comes to reliablity you need to clean it every now and then

    thanks

  • @BlazyNonVevo I have a cleaning video already posted I would like to be of more help but I am afraid that if I disassemble the pistol I won't be able to get it back together again :(

  • 480p is not high quality

  • @aandress46 I uploaded this video back when YouTube had the just the high quality option.

  • @crzyrpr Yes but it may take a few shots.

  • no its suppose to be a python duh

  • @girlsdisservebetter Python, S&W 686, they all look relatively the same because I know for a fact I've called it both before.

  • can some help me tell me how to assemble a 357 pellet gun

  • @E3Anarchy I wish I could be of some help but I've never disassembled my gun before. The best advice I can offer is to check on crosman.com and try to find a schematic.
