the 2010 mustang is not nearly as fast as the zr1 or the 2010 camaro. the biggest engine you can get in it only has 315 hp. and the 09 f150 still doesnt have as much hp as the silverado. and no ford is as fast as the zr1. stock.

Im sorry nickm is correct... and the z06 does not do 208... im not getting in your face the ZR1 is the first car i would have in my garage but it honestly tops out at just a shade over 200mph... the Z06 gets within 5mph (some seem to get to 198mph and some only to 194mph but ive never seen one do a honest 200mph... CnD got 200.5 out of the ZR1 and that was a through test... if the ZR1 had taller gears like the z06 then i think it could hit about 210mph...

no the idea of solid axle tech is from the stone age... however the solid axles of today share nothing in common with the old ones... mustang suspension is quite sophisticated but it is being compared to cars that dont spend as much money in other areas where the mustang does...  If you want to debate old tech vs new tech... which company is using pushrod??? which one is generating more hp/l (dont get in to NA vs SC i know how it works good for gm) thirdly 5.0 2011 mustang 400hp

thats a lot of hatin man... GM makes a lot of great cars and trucks including the vettes and the new lineup of caddy cars... I dont think you want a world without GM they are a big part of the auto industry and without the competition the quality suffers... the mustang will always outsell the vettes especially the ZR1 but it will never be as fast or good as a performance icon... i hope the raptor makes it but dont compare it to a hummer unless your talking H1 Hummers suck now...

What has ford come out with in the past 50 years that was an apt answer to anything exciting GM put out? I mean ever since they made the cobra they haven't had anything on the Corvette. In fact, the Z06 trumped Ferrari. Ferrari tried to one up that, then Chevy comes out with the ZR1 and now the whole world is drooling.

No offense ice but you dont know what you are talking about. ZR1 is far above than cobra with slaped KB or TT setup. And no Ford is not coming out with anything anytime soon that will beat this. In fact not a lot of other car makes are capable of beating this yet.

It will never be as fast without a frame and chassis SWAP and then its not a mustang anymore... you may be able to upgrade a Ford GT to beat it but thats a lot of work too... and money... you wont turn a terminator into a ZR1 killer especially on a track

you can check my vids for my car... its a 96 GT with intake chip with tunes, cam, a needing to be replaced magnaflow exhaust system and a couple other things here and there (such as twin ford Gt fuel pumps...) which are way overkill but someday ill need them... you can hear them pretty clearly in the videos... im yet to see a streetable mustang that will be faster than this ZR1 around a track that had a stock frame... do you have a stang? i checked you page and didnt see one..

yeah im in calgary AB and i unfortunately have to drive my stang year round... shes modded but i dont find her too bad in the snow as long as it doesnt get too deep... Its a nice way to drift without going through a set of tires every 2 seconds... but yes i have a real V8 mustang that runs a high - mid 13 second quarter... im planning on an aluminator (or the new 5.0cammer engine if the price comes down) swap to bump it to 500hp range... ill own her till i die im sure...

If GM put that much perfection into their other vehicles that $25K Impala will cost $50K lol. The ZR1 is in a class all by itself, carbon fiber, hand built motor etc. You can't possibly built high production cars with as much detail, precision and quality as a limited 2,000 unit vehicle.
