  • 1. They ask money, just a little. 2. You hand 1 dollar. 3. They know where your wallet is and press that plate agains you to cover there pickpocket trick. Some of them..

  • wat did he said 2 u when he came back ?

  • @sunny9kapoor "Can I see?"

Well, he didn't say it, he asked me using sign language. He spoke English very well though.

  • yeah like he really asked for your youtube account, whatever mate

  • @hanros98 Have you ever been to India?

  • @deathtap haha an american asking a guy who has lived there who several years. why didn't you show the part when he asked you for your account it would help you humiliate the poor boy more

  • @hanros98 I used to live in India. Grew up there. Spent most of my life there. My Fiance is Indian.

And to answer your question, he wanted to see his video, as you can see at the end, he wanted to take a look at what I shot, so I had to turn off the camera to show him.

Living in India, you ought to know that people there are smart, very smart, and have the ability to do incredible things. Is it so hard to believe that a kid like that knows about YouTube?

  • @deathtap you have a joke bro let me get this straight.

you claim you used to live in india. Grew up there. Spent most of your life there.

then how do explain your strong american accent. accent sticks after the age of 14 or 15 however hard you try to lose it, thats a fact. i am guessing you not indian because you make reference to your fiance being indian meaning you aren't. this probablyy means you are a white stuck up westerner who has lived in luxury for most of your life

  • @deathtap haha good jokes bro, are you serious. you claim

"used to live in India. Grew up there. Spent most of my life there. My Fiance is Indian." explain why you have such a strong american accent. accents remain permanatly with you after the age of 15. you refer to you fiance as being indian meaning you are not indian yourself. you probably a stuck up white folk who lived in luxury and spoils and have no idea how hard life is outside.

  • @hanros98 Lived in India from the age of 6. Went to International Schools. Say what you want, but I have plenty of friends, and soon I'll have a family there.

And I laugh at your generalization. I grew up in luxury, yes, but my family worked hard for it. It's not like we were born into money. My father worked hard to get a good job and a good home in India, and we lived there for 13 years.

And I have done my share of community service in India. Have you?

  • @deathtap alright but you still grew up in a secluded upper class society going to an international school. the thing is you don't understand how hard life is can be for people without nothing at all. i admire how you father had to work hard but you probably haven't had to, incomparison to these poor children. you are right you probably have many friends, but i could but my mortgage that they are all upper class western wannabe indians and you probably have never set foot in a slum.

  • @hanros98 @hanros98 Yes, I've set foot in a slum. Lived in one for 3 months. In Durgapur. It's hell, but one thing good about it is the strong sense of community spirit you find there. About the only thing...

Worked as a part-time teacher for the Smile Foundation: smilefoundationindia (dot) org

Raised over Rs/- 2 lakhs for orphanages in Goa (got a newspaper clip about in, but since I want me personal life to remain anonymous to my Internet one, I won't delve into which).

  • @deathtap alright i will take your word for it. congrats on raising two lahk but how did you raise, just a question

  • @hanros98 Managed to organize sponsors to contribute to it. Most NGO's are always looking for people to help 'sell' their causes to large corporations in exchange for publicity.

  • @deathtap nice job more than anything i probably would ever do

i was finally able to read your homepage, good choice of colours.

look at the end of the day we are never going to agree, because i can't belive what you have put in your description and you haven't got any evidence other than your word. however i just want you to realise that some poor people in ledc countries even if they aren't disabled or an amputee will find it extremely hard to get out of poverty, education being the only way

  • @hanros98 Well, you can always volunteer. There are plenty of humanitarian groups around India always welcoming aide from anyone and everyone who can help them. If you can spend some time to join these organizations, you are doing a lot already. You can donate old clothes, or get people to donate to a charity. The reason why I don't like giving beggars money is because sometimes beggars beg because they are forced to as part of a large organization. Like in the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

  • @deathtap yeah organisation like that are problems but how do you solve that, surely if you don't give them money they are more likely to be punished when the get home

  • @hanros98 True, but the money the beggars make goes to these thugs, who then push their money to do other things, like rent houses for prostitution, or smuggle drugs. It's despicable, but that's how things are in some parts. Luckily the Indian CIB is cracking down on it. In time, it will be a thing of the past in India.

  • @deathtap yeah hopefully, it's weird where are talk has gone to. nice talking to you

  • NRI = Non-Residential Indian. Google it.

And I do not have an Indian accent. Like I said, watch my other videos for yourself and see.

  • Comment removed

  • "Who is the accent in your video?" is wrong English.

"Whose accent are you using?" is correct.

  • man... ur so obsessed with yourself.. poor kid.. /

    kid- deathtrap...lol

  • It's death 'tap', not 'trap'.

  • Why should I find a job for him? He should go find one for himself. You're an idiot. I'm laughing at you.

  • In India, begging is a profession. Just wanting to point that out to you before you continue. It is becoming apparent that you have no idea what's going on there.

    Google: Professional Beggar India.

There's a very good website called Kamat that tells you about India's begging profession and even mentions Mumbai's infamous Beggar Mafia (which you see on Slumdog Millionaire when they pour molted iron in the eyes of that young boy).

  • Actually, I have. I spent 3 weeks in 'extreme' poverty to see what it was like as a social study. Had to walk 2 miles to get water.

  • wha? did you just put in writing that you don't endorse giving 5 cents to someone who is born into and being raised in extreme poverty??? you should pray every night. you have NO heart.

  • That's because you don't understand the big picture. If you give a beggar money, then they will continue to beg because it's an easy way of earning. They don't get a job, they don't work, they continue to beg. If the person is old, handicapped, etc, then giving money is justifiable. Does this young, plump looking fellow look in any way shape or form incapable of working? Please read more before making comments and prejudging people you know nothing about.

  • Read my comments now. I've updated them and the name of the video with an explanation why. Maybe that will cool you off.

  • the real slumdog

  • you fail to qualify to be human my friend.. suprised youtube permits animals like you to post videos!suprised you could even capture such a tragic moment!

  • Life is full of tragic moments. If you blind yourself to them, doesn't that make you blind to the suffering of others?

  • Okay, but then you should report this one too:

  • raj nagar

  • That the kid's name?

  • Comment removed

  • What? Someone comes along and randomly says 'Raj Nagar', what else am I supposed to think? It is the first time anyone's called me that. It's ridiculous because I look nothing like an Indian. You look at any of my other videos, you'd see that.

  • ...

Wow. You've really got a bone with this video. I advise you to not see the video about the child beggar getting beaten by a shop-keeper. I'd hate to think what you'd say to the person who took that video.

  • Face it bro,, Its pleading or begging dosent makes the difference, its the hunger which makes u do that,I dont live in west I am leaving it in 2 days. Beggers r beggers it dosent matter its india or Us,I better be in an foolish country that being in an culture less system

  • I dont see much difference in US right now, There people come to you in torn dress and ask u for money, Here people come in clean tights and ask with an acsent "Can you share me 40 cents","I am hungry , Can u give me a dollar". I appreciate what the boy did, Atleast try to be professional in begging

  • sunil, indians like you live in the west and try to compare minor pleading with indian begging. i am indian origin but atleast i am honest, and not a hypocrite: i don't live in a western country and diss the west. india has a lot of 'catching up' to do. fastest growing economy means NOTHING. hinduism is one of the main reasons india is in despair: racist caste system, idiotic superstition, animal headed gods...foolishness!

  • I agree..but India has its own pros and cons...after all..everything cannot be the same..I guess its just foolish to compare at the moment at this level... India needs hardworking Indians ..who move out to other countries for a better living..so how do you expect things so change quickly...be proud and support India..no matter how it is..its yours!

  • ur not a hypocrite ? we all are. when u carry it always inside u, u dont complain but when the same excreta comes out u say yuck. thats called a fucking hypocrite. as for superstition, america is the most superstitious country. which movies are the biggest blockbusters ? spiderman, batman, superman, narnia, pirates, harry potter, matrix, horror movies. do u see a trend ? what do u call those americans flocking to india for emancipation ? was george harrison a retard ? death strikes all. OM

  • i fe3l b4d 4 dat k1d

  • hey you seem like a nice bloke! thats the way to be!

  • Thanks!

  • god bless u brother

  • Uh... thanks... I guess. Problem is that there are a lot of people in India that are living way below the poverty line. But you know something else, even then, even when they sleep on the ground, even when they don't have food to fill their bellies, they always are willing to give you a smile. That, my friend, is worth more than all the money in the world.

  • why u talking english? are u an upper cast indian/american silverspoon fed fat pig? u seem to be humiliating the poor lad more than anything. Just give if u feel sorry..whats with the interview..fuckin cheeky twat..

  • I'm talking English because that's my first language. I am an American, and I am not that fat. Maybe a little podgy. I am not humiliating him. Why would I do that? Why can't I interview him? It's not like he's going to cry about it, and besides, he's perfectly healthy boy. He shouldn't be begging in the first place. He should be at school or working. And don't swear. It's unattractive and doesn't make you look cool.

  • you should ask God why you are so judgemental of someone who was born into generations of extreme poverty. too bad you can't trade places with him and "show us how it's done". You are a horrible person. I hope people treat you with just as must disrespect for the rest of your useless life.

  • Yes. I am a horrible person. That's why I gave him money. I should have not given him anything, then I would have been perfectly fine. Right?

  • Comment removed

  • Fine. I can live with that.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes. I am. My donations to charity, my helping to build schools for children in impoverished nations, my donations of blood to hospitals in Africa, me helping farmers in Aurangabad, and me helping out at orphanages across India. These are all testaments to me being a horrible person.

Answer this for me: have you ever been to India?

  • Comment removed

  • I have. None have a problem with it. None.

Have you been to Ooty? Madurai? What about Vaisak? There are orphanages there that I built physically, with my own hands. But meh, that's not what you're concerned about. For someone who lived in Gujurat, you sure are ignorant.

My girlfriend's a Parsi, by the way. My character is not an issue at all. I said that I agree with you in that I am a horrible person. Did I say otherwise?

  • Nice video.

Feel free to watch about KIDS in INDIA

  • Don't need to. I was a kid in India.

  • then why are you so callous and think you are better than them. go read about Mother Theresa you pig! I'm Gujarati (always lived in the US) and I despise that you're calling yourself indian.

  • No. I never once called myself an Indian. I love India. I lived there for 13 years. Oh, and before you go preaching to me about Mother Therasa (who was a hero), why don't you read about Kiran Bedi, Shanta Sinha? Did you know that I volunteered at a elderly center which she founded and took care of the people there? You're too quick to judge.

  • Comment removed

  • Clearly. That's why I'm going to go home to my Indian girlfriend, because she doesn't like me. Admit you're wrong, and get on with your life. Everyone makes mistakes, that is why we learn from them.

  • its sad. sumbeggars are real beggars..but sum beggars children are kidnapped at night. they r given these injections which disable their body parts. the they are used to beg for money so that people feel sorry for them. Theres more than wot meets the eye. There are rich people who run this begging thing. I dunno man... its sad and horrific at the same time.

  • Your forget that some kids get their limbs hacked off, or their eyes gouged out. Sad. Real sad. But India is trying to purge that kind of thing. It's slow, but they're doing it.

  • Absolutely- and quite rightly so... I also hope and pray that all this corruption stops soon.. I hopedeserving civilians get their rights, hard earned money, and satisfaction.

our India gets better and better- but most of all the

  • he dont look to bad a state to me, he looks clean and well fed. i think hes a tourist trap more than anything.

  • Probably making some chump change.

  • sad life his has isnt it. shame.

  • Life always sucks. But for some, it sucks even harder.

  • Comment removed

  • So far only 3 people out of thousands have complained... seems to me that no one has problem with it except a few of you. But why should I take your word for it, I will ask my friends who are Indian in India what they think about this video. It's pointless asking you, a Guju born in the USA, you did say, right? A lot of Indians in India hate NRI's for their arrogance and nativity. I never really understood, but I think I do a little now. Why not make a video reply and tell people how you feel?

  • Comment removed

  • Truth hurts. By the by, most Indians are pretty 'with it', and most know a lot about the Internet.

  • Comment removed

  • I never said that everyone was doing well in India. I just said that I don't endorse giving money to healthy, young men.
